Thanks for reaching out OuterSpaced! For installation with mortar in cold weather, we recommend following the instructions on a quick-dry repair mortar with 3,000 PSI or greater.
Great question! The threaded rod is 1/2" - 13 x 5'. We're deeply sorry about the damaged pier and missing parts, as well as any impact this may have on your project. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us at (603) 338-0002 if there is anything further we can do to assist you.
Thanks for reaching out DiyGuy. Putting packed gravel at the bottom is absolutely the way to go, however, we do not recommend installation without the base. The wide base is crucial as it ensures the footing remains stable and does not shift over time. Best of luck with your project!
We'd love to discuss the details with you. Please give us a call at (603) 338-0002
Yes, drilling into the top should be no problem
Thank you for your inquiry! The base of our EZ-TUBE product is 22" in diameter. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns. Thanks!
Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, EZ-TUBE can be used in this type of application. We recommend using mortar between each section when installing. Our pre-cast concrete is 5000 psi and would be a great option for this type of project, thank you for considering our EZ-TUBE. Please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions.
Hello and thank you for your inquiry. Gravel isn't required, it's recommended to help create a level base for the EZ-TUBE. If you don't have gravel it's fine to smooth out the dirt so it's flat and place the EZ-TUBE directly on the dirt in the hole. Thank you for considering EZ-TUBE for your project. Please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
