Hello Kim, Thank you very kindly for your question. We do not recommend that you cut the fixed shelf as modification will void your Limited Lifetime Warranty and may compromise the integrity of the cabinet. We best recommend to partner with your local Home Depot Kitchen Team for your cabinet options. Best Regards.
I purchased the 54"x 24"x 12" horizontal Hampton wall mount cabinet. It was fully assembled, yes. The doors were also aligned and adjusted properly.

Hello JA, Thank you for your question. The shelves for the Easthaven collection are not available for purchase or special order separately from the cabinet. Best Regards.
You are able to stain these. I would suggest you trying a few colors in the inside of one of the cabinets, cabinet door or a side panel if it's going against a call. Matching stains can be challenging. Be sure to put whatever finish you're planning on using on the tests so you get a truer sense of the final color. Also look into using a wood conditioner before you stain. Check the stain manufacturer for recommended "pre-stain" treatments. All the best!
