Is your main breaker at the top, does it trip horizontal, and is it a type CSR/BWH breaker? If so I believe it should work.
Hello Duane, we recommend contacting our technical support team at 877-386-2273, Opt 2, Opt 3, Opt 1. And we can make sure we get all information from the correct panel you have and see if we would have a fit for you. Regards, Eaton
Don't think so. My Generator breaker is directly under the main. Call Eaton
Hello, this interlock is not compatible with this loadcenter. Regards, Eaton
Hello Danny, this interlock does not fit that loadcenter. Regards, Eaton
No it will only fit the BR series panels
Hello, for your load center CHP42B200V29, the interlock kit you would use would be a CHPMIKCSR. Regards, Eaton
Hello JWhite, Thank you for your response. You are correct that they main breaker is a CSR type. No matter how I flipped the interlock kit around, I could not get it to line up with the four screw "detents" that Eaton provides around the main breaker, AND have it line up with where the generator breaker should go. To humor the folks that have tried to answer this question, I drove back to Home Depot this afternoon to see if they still had the Interlock Kit on their shelf, or if they had sent it back to their vendor. My hopes were that they would still have it. I was going to repurchase it, bring it home, and take photographs of it up against my panel. Unfortunately, they had already sent it back. So.....I am going to repurchase the unit online and it should be at my local store later this week. I will update this thread with what I find. In meantime, here is a photo of the lower portion of my panel.
Danny I looked at the panel you have listed and a lock out won't work on that panel, the reason why is because the lock outs kits require a branch circuit breaker to be mounted below the main which is used for back feeding the panel locks out the main breaker. You could be able to mount it on the indoor panel located in the house but you would need to bring your generator wire from outside to the panel. Also the lockout will only work if your inside panel has a main breaker. The code requires that you must be able to lock out the generator from back feeding to the power company's meter. Mike
Hello Bill, BRMIKCSR will not work on this meter breaker. MBDF17M is the correct interlock deadfront. Regards, Eaton.
