This tankless water heater features an all-weather rain cap and tri-coat pearl white powder coat finish giving it the ability to be used in the elements if needed. A unique steel carrying handle adds ease to portability to this indoor or outdoor water heater. Adjustable water and gas knobs allow you to set the ideal outgoing water temperature to ensure maximum comfort, from 50 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit, dependent on outside temperature and incoming water tempature.
Simply attach a garden hose with adequate water pressure and a 20 pound propane tank and you are guaranteed to enjoy the luxury of hot water anywhere.
This unit features a safety shut off switch that automatically shuts down the water heater when tilted more than 45 degrees.
User has realized that the handle could be redesigned, as everytime you set the unit down, the Gas and Water connections take the first impact upon setting the unit down. The handle could be redesigned and rotated 90 degrees to the other side of the unit, making long term transporting more reliable.

Portable hot water whether for outdoor showering, muddy cleanups or dog bathing will make my life so much better this summer! I collect rainwater around my homestead in 275 gal totes and the absolute best joy in life is sun warmed rain water. Now I won't have to wait until August. It's alittle cold around here to test out the unit but I did connect a hose to my kitchen sink and hooked up the BBQ propane to get a sense of how quickly the water warms. While the EccoTemp Luxe 1.85gpm wasn't as quick as my Rinnai on demand inside the house, but it's a close second in delivering hot water. Everything you need is included to get you up and running as soon as you can unbox and hang the unit. You'll even find a small round of plumbers tape. Three simple connections - propane hose w/regulator, water inlet and water outlet to handheld shower head. Follow the clear understandable directions to set up and you'll be enjoying hot water anywhere you can take a 20# propane tank. I found the water temp adjustment knobs to be responsive and easy to use. Because my main use for the EccoTemp Lux is rainwater outdoor showers, I did a ballpark test by turning kitchen connection down to reduce pressure and the EccoTemp Lux powered on like a champ producing hot water, it performed as expected and NO leaks. The product guide indicates minimum pressure to be 20gpm. I can't say enough about the EccoTemp Lux 1.85gpm portable tankless water heater. Even though you shouldn't leave the EccoTemp Lux exposed to harsh weather elements, it's so quick and easy hang and connect. This heater sure beats my camp shower bag hanging from a tree!

This ECCOTEMP LUXE 1.85 GPM 52000 BTU OUTDOOR PORTABLE GAS TANKLESS WATER HEATER is a perfect solution for an outdoor dog bath and after-beach outdoor shower to keep the sand and tar out of the house! It is fairly light and easy to move around, so we may take it camping, too. It sets up in just a minute - connect it to a propane tank (not provided) and a water hose, and you have instant hot water, and you can adjust temperature. Sprayer has a long enough hose to reach up for showering people, or down for the dogs.

This PORTABLE TANKLESS WATER HEATER is nice. It comes with a storage bag to store the heater and accessories in when not in use. It does come with a shower head and hose. It comes with the gas regulator and hose. It also comes with the connections for the bottom of the heater. I mounted the heater onto a wooden set of legs I built. The gas cylinder is NOT included, so you will have to buy your own. The heater is easy to set the temperature and adjust it if needed. It provides sufficient amount of hot water for my washing machine that is located in my storage shed in my back yard. Great little unit.

Instead of running a hot water tap outside to bathe the dogs in cold weather, there is THIS. A great idea, perfect for my purpose. Here are my Pros: Installation was quick and fairly easy. It works well, heating cold water to 93 degrees with an outdoor temperature of 41. It comes with all the adapters and supplies needed, including a hand held shower wand. Cons: The top bracket was bent 90 degrees, creating some confusion. I bent it back, and all is well. The instruction manual needs a re-write to provide better continuity from opening the box, sorting the parts, a more detailed installation procedure, then usage. The troubleshooting section was good, but does not mention installation in an area subject to winds that can blow out the gas flame. I intend to fashion a metal shield behind the unit to protect the rear vents from the wind. Operation is very straight forward, and again, it works!

Happy with purchase
I bought this unit for our cottage so I can have hot water. Took a bit to figure out the settings. But I recommend this unit.. Put it close to where you want the most hot water.( ie the kitchen sink).. I would order it again.

It works most of the time and can produce 124 degree Fahrenheit. I use it to heat my above ground pool. The replaces and older version that was having issues. This one is now having issues as well. I have it hooked to a 3/4 HP transfer pump on a timer so it runs 20 minutes on then 20 minutes off. Sometimes when the timer kicks in, the gas doesn’t ignite and I have to turn the pump off, wait a minute then turn it back on and THEN it fires up. This is not optimal as I have to go out and check on it now and again.

Did not work
Bought this new as it was advertised for off grid use and it would only stay lit for 10 sec at a time. Customer service basically told me its new so return it from wherever i bought it.
