This product is NOT machine washable. As the picture shows, after first machine washing, the backing stuck together and caused tears in the curtain and they are no longer usable.

I changed out the curtains in my living room to these panels. They hang very nicely and keep out the light very well. Will wait to see in the winter to see if they help keep out the cold air. I am very happy with this product. They were reasonably priced too.
