How many drapery pins do I need to fit this curtain onto a traverse rod?

Asked by: Virginia
It definitely was not designed for drapery hooks. I finally had to use the small sharp pointed hooks and force them in. That was definitely disappointing but I do love the drapes.

How do these attach to the pole? Do you need the Heavy-Duty Pin-On clips or can they just go on like in the 4th picture?

Asked by: JanetK
I used drapery hooks, but they have large loops so you can slide them on a pole.

Eclipse Thermal Blackout Patio Door Curtain Panel in Espresso - 100 in. W x 84 in. L, Brown is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 37.

Several issues were: 1) Very hard to get pins in the pleats. 2) Extremely creased - have been trying to steam the creases out but it is taking a long time. 3) I wish there were more pleats - I think it would hang better.

They are actually shinier than in the picture. Kinda like satin/silk material. Good thickness and weight. I've tried 3 other brands are these, by far, are the best value. They are a much darker chocolate brown than my pic would lead one to believe.

The pinch pleat is definitely looser and not as long. The material is difficult to put a drapery pin through so I had to go through the seams. It does have tabs in the back as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good insulator, blackout functions Color matched description and we are already noticing that it is cooler near the window. Difficulty hanging it though, since it doesn't use traditional traverse rod hooks. Had to buy long pin hooks and it took about 40 minutes to insert (sight unseen) and hang. As a result, top of curtain hangs forward, not vertical.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from curtains nice curtains not total blackout if you want total blackout you need to buy blackout fabric. I used the old blackout fabric from the curtains I replaced and hung it on a rod behind the new ones, I used theses new curtains for my bedroom.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Thermal Blackout Patio Door Wheat Curtain Panel, 84 in. Length The drapes were a greenish color rather then the tan color. Not what I thought I was getting those the drapes themselves were fine. Just the color is off from what it's advertised as.
