Questions & Answers

Which is brighter daylight or bright white

Asked by: Mel
As for actual "lumens", I can't say, but Daylight "appears" much brighter than Bright White. All of my shop and outdoor, as well as task lights are daylight.

What is the difference between this 120 Watt Ecosmart PAR 38 lightbulb and the 120 Watt EcoSmart ...

What is the difference between this 120 Watt Ecosmart PAR 38 lightbulb and the 120 Watt EcoSmart BR 40 lightbulb? I ask this because I was hoping to see if I could use this lightbulb in place of the Ecosmart 120W Replacement Soft White BR40 Light Bulb because this one seems to be out of stock at Home Depot. Will the PAR 38 fit in the same socket and work as well as the BR40? And is it as safe for the same socket? Please advise. Thank you.
Asked by: Robbie
The biggest difference is the shape (PAR vs BR). They both have the E-26 connection type (same as most light bulbs in the U.S.). It's a matter of which one fits in the fixture you'll be using it with. There are BR40's available homedepot.com if your store is out.
