Here are the instructions for setting this bulb up using the Alexa App: Works with Amazon Echo Plus Open the Amazon Alexa app. Select “Add Device”. Select “Light”. Scroll down the light brand list to select “other”. The LED bulb will connect to Alexa by clicking “DISCOVER DEVICES” (ensure the light is on and in a pairing mode). Set up the device and the “light bulb” now is ready to use. Name and control the bulb.

one of the bulbs unresponsive after two months
I was able to connect this device to My echo plus right away. However after two months of use via the the switch, and, or Alexa, one of the bulbs has stopped responding to smart hub commands.

2 ZigBee Smart bulbs for under $15!
I have been upgrading my home lighting to be controlled with Alexa or the SmartThings app and these bulbs are perfect! Finding smart bulbs for cheap is difficult, but these dimmable and tunable bulbs are a killer deal. The warm to cool white spectrum with these is perfect. With a Samsung SmartThings hub already in my house (and they should work with Google or Alexa hubs too) you just twist them in, flip the switch and search for them with the app. They were synced in seconds. I put them in the areas of my house where my kids forget to turn off the light so I can set up an automation with either Alexa or Smarthings to turn them off after they have been on too long, or at certain times to avoid wasting power. The other awesome thing is they are Zigbee!! What this means is other Zigbee enabled items connect to them via a mesh network. Wifi runs on two separate bands, 2.4GHz and 5Ghz (most smart devices only go 2.4) Bluetooth is another frequency band, and Zigbee is yet another. Wifi gets cluttered with all the devices that get on it, and often smart home devices get booted, Bluetooth as well is limited in number of simultaneous connections. Zigbee is different in that you are not likely to lose items easily, and bulbs act as repeaters, widening the mesh network of all your smart devices, giving them a stronger broader range than one wifi router. You can have tons more devices connected, each strengthening the mesh network. Also with a ton of other bulbs, you have to use the manufacturer's app, (sorry but I don't trust giving some of them access to my smartphone) these just sync right to your own setup. I have had them for a week and hopefully they last!

I have Philips Hue whites as well as Lifx mini whites controlled by Echo Plus second generation. The Home Depot EcoSmart Smart bulbs are equally as good if not better. If you want a bulb that has nice temperature control and the ability to dim very low the Home Depot EcoSmart Smart bulb is an excellent choice! Inexpensive too!

I love this product! I love that it's dimmable, I love that it has a remote control and I love that I can choose between all the different white light shades. My only complaint is that I didn't buy more than one of them!!

The remote doesn't work. Period.
This bulb remote combo is just a bulb. The zigbee remote doesnt pair with any hub or function properly. This is a misleading product and probably being sold on the cheap to just get rid of the things.

Finally a easy way to get the right color temperature and brightness according to your taste and/or mood. Used the remote only, and paired 2 more to it. Instructions were clear and for the sale price this is one heck of a deal. Be great if they would make them in 100w equivalents too.

These EcoSmart A19 LED light bulb kits include one smart LED bulb and one remote for wireless control, which can be mounted on any surface. These kits are excellent choice for testing out the benefits of connected smart lighting. NOTE: You cannot use this light on an existing dimmer controlled device! One smart switch can control up to 20 paired Lights. The smart A19 LED bulbs are dimmable via included remote (do not use on dimmer switches) and use only 9.5-Watt of energy to produce up to 800 Lumens, equivalent to a 60-Watt incandescent bulb. With tunable white technology, these smart LED bulbs can be set on any color temperature between 2700K (Soft White) and 6500K (Daylight), allowing you to choose the perfect light appearance for your space. I found this to be a great choice for my adjustable bench light, especially with the controllability of the lamp color and brightness. These EcoSmart bulbs can also be easily paired to an Alexa Echo Plus or Samsung Smart Things systems (or any other ZigBee hub), however it needs to be unpaired from the remote before it is paired to the Alexa or Samsung system. These bulbs are made in China.

This is a nice LED starter kit from Ecosmart. I do not have a hub so I was only able to hook it up using the remote. Just simply plug it in and you can start to use the remote as it is already pair with the bulb. With the remote you can change the light intensity and color. I put this in our guest room to provide the ease of using the bulb without getting out of bed.

The Ecosmart 60 watt starter kit is a really great alternative to Phillips Hue if you’re looking for remote control lighting. It comes with a good amount of features - various warm and cool tones, dimming options and a feature to save settings. the remote comes with a magnetic holder that has 3M strips so you don’t need to drill holes to install it on a wall. I use this in the living room where 9 out of 10 times I don’t want to get up from the couch. It’s perfect for what I need and price point is great.
