This light bulb is bright! One light bulb is enough to light up my bar counter. It’s a little shorter than the traditional flood light bulb making it hard to screw into the can light. The adjustable beam seems to have only 2 settings for me, not making much of a difference. For the equivalent of a 75w, this bulb only use 9w of energy, half the amount of energy of my fluorescent flood light bulb. My goal is to replace all my light bulbs to LED to save in the electric bill.

Nice size and features.
This bulb has a flat ~3.5 inch face that fits nicely in a can and even in the little lamp that I used for testing the different light colors. The selectable color temperature switch (2700K-3000K-3500K-4000K-5000K) is on the side of the lamp, so not real easy to adjust once in place. The brightest light has a blue tone and the lowest has a subtle yellowish tone. I really couldnt see any difference in the adjustable beam; probably would be more noticeable if the can was in a higher ceiling or in an outdoor setting.

The right size, dimmable*, adjustable intensity, focusable bulb
This bulb is 3.5 inches across at the projecting end and this end has a rotatable lens which will allow it to focus between floodlight (40 degrees) and spotlight(25 degrees). It is lit by LED technology which gives off 800 lumens and costs an estimated $1.08 per year to operate. It uses only 9 watts of power replacing a 75 watt standard bulb. This bulb is guaranteed for 10 years when operated with a 120 volt, 60Hz circuit. By twisting the base of the bulb it can be set to one of five different intensities: Soft white (2700 K), Bright white (3000 K), True white (3500 K), Cool white (4000 K) and Daylight (5000 K). The bulb is dimmable with the use of *LED compatible light dimmers.

Great light
I used this LED floodlight to replace an existing old fashioned bulb. This bulb is a bit smaller which I liked and screwed right into place. The difference in light quality is astounding. This LED is crisp and clear lighting. The color white/soft etc (color temperature) can be selected and I used the brightest for this side door application. can I will replace the other floods with this light it's a winner.

beam adjustment seems subtle
So, I installed this bulb in a recessed ceiling fixture in my bathroom. The light is gives off is very nice, the adjustable light color is a great feature. I am biased toward daylight tone, but there are five options available to select from. The adjustable beam pattern, in my particular install location seems to be a very subtle change. I really could not tell much difference, and I would not be able to say which was the narrow and which was the wide pattern. Perhaps in an outdoor fixture, where the beam shone greater than eight feet, the difference may be more dramatic. Still a great light.

Nice Features
Transitioning to LED bulbs throughout the house and garage, I got this bulb for use in my desk office area because of the adjustable beam feature and the ability to change the "color" of the light from soft white up through daylight, depending on my needs. This is a 75 watt replacement bulb that only uses 9 watts of electricity so great savings. Easy to install in most fixtures and it is "dimmable" if you need that feature.

Bright light
My current flood lights I've been using are 9 watts, 3000K "warm." These are only 2 watts more... 11 watts; but TEN TIMES brighter. The 5000 kelvin "daylight" white is insanely bright. Im using these over my driveway at night for security. If you've never used 5000K (color)... it takes a couple weeks to mentally get used to them. You will be shocked the 1st time. But if security is you're purpose, and not ambiance... no bad guys will stick around when these come on. You can't even look directly at them.. that's not exaggerating. Unbelievable they can now get prison riot lighting with a tiny 11 watt LED, lol. You've been told. Mine are perfect for what I wanted. To burn the bad guys retinas :D You probably won't like these for relaxing on your patio. That's NOT why they were invented. That's what (3000K) warm yellowish color is for. All kidding aside.. the majority of people get used to them, and end up loving them.. for the right purpose. But you will have to give it a little time!

EcoSmart 75-Watt Equivalent PAR30 Dimmable CEC Flood LED Light Bulb with Selectable Color Temperature
EcoSmart 75-Watt Equivalent PAR30 Dimmable CEC Flood LED Light Bulb with Selectable Color Temperature You have a lot of choices with this light bulb. The EcoSmart PAR30 9-Watt (75-Watt) LED Light Bulb can be used to replace a PAR 38 or 75-Watt bulb. It will give you 800 Lumens for up to 25,000 life hours [ or so they say]. Each LED bulb is equipped with 5 color temperature settings: 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, 5000K. It allows for 2 beam angles: 40° Flood, 25° Narrow. There is a switch on the bulb to select the desired color temperature and beam angle. You must choses before you install the light bulb. I liked the wide angle better - covers more area in the back yard. The brightest setting is kind of a blueish color... The medium setting is more of a daylight setting to me.

Bright future
EcoSmart 75-Watt Equivalent PAR30 Dimmable CEC Flood LED Light Bulb with Selectable Color Temperature (1-Pack). This bulb has 2 selectable features. By turning the base, you can select 5 different color temperatures, 2700K to 5000K. The face of the bulb is also selectable for beam from 40 degree flood light to focused 25 degree spot light by turning the screen in front of the LED surface. There is a noticeable difference in the color temperature setting but not a lot of difference in the beam focus adjustment. On any color setting it is a bright bulb and will illuminate an area very well.
