I would give 4.5 stars if an option. Dimming to 10% was only minor issue
Length of ownership: 6 months
Total bulbs: 24
Failures or defects: none
Setting: indoor only
Fixtures: all recessed and open
Power consumption: Consistently between 9.7 and 9.8 Watts
Quality of light: Same as incandescent (2700K), I can't tell a difference
Performance: Instant on, appears brighter than 60W incandescent
Dimming: down to 10% with Control4 adaptive phase dimmer. Adequate for home theater but my A19 LED from another manufacturer dims down lower.
Noise: none at any dimming level
Flicker: none at any dimming level
Issues: Cannot dim as well as incandescent or another manufacturer A19 bulbs. However, it provides good enough dimming even for a very dark environment (movie theater use)

Beautiful way to upgrade lighting and save money.
I have 15 overhead floods in my living room/kitchen. That's 900 watts when fully lit up. By easily changing to these ecosmart leds, I'm using the equivalent of 3 of the old incandescent bulbs. Brighter than the old bulbs so I can use the dimmer to choose whatever light output I desire.
I had to change the dimmer modules to support the new leds, but that was about a 15 minute job for each.
Very happy and I no longer have to worry about all the watts I am using up when I want to light up the whole space.

Great light, looks just like the incandescent it replaced.
Reasonably priced bulb that looks just like the incandescent light it replaced, except a little brighter. Very pleased with its performance.

Works great!
Although LED bulbs in general can't dim extremely low like incandescent bulbs, these can dim low enough to create ambient light for watching movies, so it's not a knock against it. At full brightness the light output is slightly brighter than the 65w Philips BR30 I replaced but just as pleasant to the eye.

Very Pleased!
I replaced 6 lights in the kitchen and the difference is amazing. LED lights are worth the extra bucks. I'm sure the price will slowly come down.
I love how bright and well lit my kitchen is now.

Great Light / Wonderful Price!
Love the light this bulb puts out! Used it to replace 150w incandescent bulbs under the balcony in our church sanctuary. At 9w they put out a brighter light, with better coverage than the 150w bulbs. Amazing! It's actually a nice soft color light too, without being too yellow. They are a great deal when you buy them individually, but you just can't beat the price of the 4 pack! We will be converting the rest of our sanctuary lights to LED also. The energy savings will be a real blessing!

Great lights. Brighter than incandescent. Don't dim as much
These lights were the right price. I replaced all six incandescent bulbs in the kitchen and now I can run all of the new LED bulbs for less than the cost of one. These bulbs are brighter than the incandescent but they do not dim as far down. So if you want that candle light mood, don't get them since they can't dim that far. I took two pictures, one with them dimmed and the other full on, hope this helps.

Better than the current offering
These lights have a better CRI (Color Rendering Index) than the current offering. Reds look much better in these light than under the new Cree 65 watt equivalents, for example. They are brighter than the 65 watt equivalent incandescent bulbs, and give a little bit whiter light. They put out an incredible amount of light for 9 watts. They come on instantly and dim well. I bought one bulb to test, and unfortunately by the time I got back to the store, they had been discontinued. So I bought 8 of them elsewhere for a higher price. I would buy more if they were available.
