How low can the height be adjusted to?

I never write reviews but I felt I had to do this one. I was trying to find a clothes rack that would fit a very tight closet with a low slanting ceiling. This adjustable rack looked perfect from the description. I ordered it and couldn't be happier - if you can be happy about a clothes rack! It was everything it claimed to be. It was extremely easy to assemble, easy to adjust, was perfectly machined so all the pieces fit together without any issues. I hung a lot of clothes on it and there were no problems with the weight. Also, I was pleasantly surprised that it actually looked good with a very appealing light grey finish! Kudos to the engineers and Econo for making a product that lives up to its billing.

Smells like an oil slick

This thing smells so bad it's given me a headache, and I've only had it out of the box for about 45 minutes. It seems like it will be sturdy, but I'm not even going to bother putting it together yet. I'm going to crack some windows, but if it still smells tomorrow I'm returning it.
