Product Overview

Introducing Ecor Pro's unique, patented, compressor-less, desiccant dehumidifiers for residential and commercial drying applications. Designed to work anywhere safely all day and every day. With our newly innovated and patented DryFan Zeolite Technology, moisture can be vented outside with the unit placed in any direction, as well as eliminating water containers, pumps and hoses that were included in traditional obsolete dehumidifiers. The EPD200 uses a 4-hole system. This 4-hole system is more effective at drying - firstly, all the dry Process air is passed back into the room and secondly, Regen air from outside of the room may be relatively wet. The EPD200 desiccant dehumidifier can work upside down or on it's side to enable easy mounting to ceilings and walls. Traditional refrigerant dehumidifiers are prone to stop working in cold environments, while Ecor Pro's desiccant dehumidifiers can pull moisture even at below 0°F room temperature. Compact and lightweight, almost a third of the size of comparable dehumidifiers, making the units easy to carry in 1 hand and transported from jobsite to jobsite. Stainless steel PRO version is ideal for water damage restoration, cold room and freezer ice production and boat protection.
  • AC and DC Power Supply: A 15-foot 120-volt power cord that plugs directly into an outlet is included, but it can also be run on a 12-volt AC converter.
  • Pressure-Neutral Drying: Ideal for drying large cold areas like freezers, a 4-hole system allows for drying without influencing room pressure. There are two inlet and outlet vents: One set brings in air and releases dry air into your space, while the other one brings in room air to mix with moisture before being exhausted outside.
  • Freestanding or Ducted Design: This versatile dehumidifier can be taken from job to job easily. Plus you can put it on the floor, wall, or ceiling. dd 5-inch flex or hard ducting as needed for certain jobs where you won't place it in rooms that need dehumidification.
  • Long and Replaceable Power Cord: This dehumidifier uses a standard 120-volt outlet and includes a 15-foot power cord with purchase.
  • Auto Restart: If power is lost during operation, this dehumidifier will restart at its previous settings once power is restored.
  • Steel Design: Its interior and exterior are designed with steel for long-term use and to stand up to tough conditions.
  • Triple Safety Sensors: Sensors ensure it never overheats, while leaking isn't a problem since there's no collection bucket.
  • Dust Filter: A dust filter sits in a metal frame that can easily be shaken clean.
  • Large Operating Temperature: Use this impressive dehumidifier in temperatures between -4 and 104 degrees F.
  • Quiet Operation: Since it doesn't have a compressor, it's quieter than comparable models and is rated at 56 dB.
  • Self-Regulating Moisture Removal: Its fan auto-regulates to maximize efficiency even after ducting has been added.
  • DIY Installation: Professional installation isn’t required, but be sure to follow installation instructions closely.
  • Common Uses: Sea vessels and other areas near salt water since, catering and frozen food industries, water damage restoration and construction, crawl spaces and basements without access to heat, schools, hotels, restaurants and other commercial areas.
  • No pumps, hoses, water leaks or water containers since it exhausts out all moisture. No compressor means it works down to -4 degrees F.
  • Designed for continuous use in tough environments. Simply turn it on, and it self-regulates to maintain a healthy humidity without wasting energy.
  • This Ecor Pro desiccant dehumidifier offers 309 CFMs of power, removes 200 pints of moisture per day and can be used in spaces up to 3,000 square feet.
  • Its desiccant rotor absorbs moisture with a vast surface area, which makes for efficient collection.

Yeah kind of lame right? I just used a relay to switch the outlet it is plugged into. A SSR probably would have costed 0.025% more, lol.

Since the Ecor Pro dehumidistat is not available in the U.S. market, which available dehumidistat...

What I did on mine was get a 24VAC Honeywell DeHumidistat and wired that to a 24VAC Ice Cube Relay with contacts that are rated for 120VAC at 20Amps (I picked up the 24VAC off of my HVAC system). I used that to switch on an off a GFCI outlet that the unit is plugged into. It is also on a dedicated circuit on my AC service panel, which is needed anyways. You can find the manufacture's DeHumidistat, however it is not digital and it is over $230 bucks so what I did was half the price and a nicer DeHumidistat. If you are going to install a light commercial appliance in your home you better know what you are getting into ;)

I just learned from these questions and answers that in the European marketplace, the warranty on...

Ecor Pro says that there is a one year warranty on the housing, which is a sheet of metal, and a five year warranty of the desiccant wheel. But there are electronic controls and a fan or fans as well. What is the warranty for those components? Where can I read in writing the complete warranty for this device that costs many thousands of dollars? Thank you.

What is the expected lifespan of the unit running continuously? Why is warranty so short for this big investment?

It is not true that a one year warranty is the industry standard as was told June 2 in answer to this question. In fact, in the EU market, Ecor Pro provides a two year warranty. That is the standard since the EU market preceded the U.S. market in time.

The warranty is one year.....from other sources, it’s two years......why is that? It is expensive.

Hopefully after it makes it 1 year it will last another 20, even the two blower fans are Fans-Tech Class F fans, they will probably outlast my Carrier HVAC system. It is stainless, 2 blowers, and a desiccant wheel drive motor, way less to go wrong than a compressor based dehumidifier. I have one in my basement routed into my ducts it is 3 years old, works great, and yeah super expensive so it better last 20 years.

Other vendors have a Warranty of two years for the same unit...what explains the difference? Tha...

Hi, The limited warranty is indeed only for 1 year for parts and labor. The other vendors must have made a mistake. We are currently investigating and will post a response once we get this figured out. Sorry for the confusion. Thanks for the question!

Highly Recommended
Excellent product for Commercial and Home use. I have been searching for a product that would keep my humidity down under 65% because I didn’t want mold or bacteria to grow inside my house. I needed a commercial grade dehumidifier because in the winter no residential models that I tried could keep the moisture levels down bellow 60% and I will need to use multiple small units instead of only one comercial unit. I work for a restoration company and we use the Ecorpro EPD-200 and the EPD-50. So I figured if it was good enough for water damage work it would work for what I needed it for. What a difference it made. I was pleased with the fast free delivery that Home Depot offers. This product is pretty light weight at 45 pounds, very quiet and easy to move around. It requires very little assembly so set up was a breeze. I am very pleased with my purchase and would definitely recommend this product to anyone.
