The Eden waterfall Garden Table is designed specifically for urban gardeners, allowing in a limited space the ability to grow more fresh herbs and vegetables Constructed from solid fir wood (which is rot resistant) and easily assembled with the use of only a hammer allows for more time to garden. The self wicking liners help to keep the rich soil in the garden bed as well as keeping the moisture off the wood frame. Built in drip holes allows for water to flow through and prevents root rot. The deep troth design is also ideal for deep rooted plants such at tomatoes and peppers and even carrots. You can even garden while sitting in your favorite chair.

Q:How has this lasted over the years? would you recommend protecting it by coating it with spar Urethane? Thanks!

A:  I have had mine for 2 years and they have weathered nicely. I’m not sure about coating it but it could work because it has those black liners so the chemicals might not seep into the roots of the plants

    A:  the wood is cedar which is anti rot, the spar urethane will protect the wood further so it doesnt discolor further.

        A:  Mine is 1 year old and left outside through the winter.  It will be fine another year or 2.   A protective coating would be a good idea to get more use out of it.

          A:  Yes it would be a good idea to paint, stain or otherwise protect the wood from the weather. I've only had my planters for 1 year, and other than the dowels letting loose a little bit over the extremes of winter, my planters are planted already and I'm awaiting my next harvest!

            A:  I’m on year 2 and love it...  we did cover with a tarp and stored in the screened in porch...  but that is pretty low maintenance!

                    Easy to assemble. No problem with dowels lining up but a rubber mallet was helpful. Plants have been in for 3 weeks and are doing great. Wish I could post a picture

                    Missing dowels
                    Bought last year and stored thru winter. Opened box and no dowels. Couldn't get dowels over the phone from company. Said I had to fill out some form online. Went to store to get dowels. 5/16 too small. 3/8 too big. Gave up. Now it's just expensive firewood.
