Can I use this in a bathroom
Is the Natural pine jaw a raw wood surface that can be glued on?
Hello DanG, this product may be glued, however we do still recommend using nails during the installation process.
I have the white bar wood pine boards. Can you please tell me the color that was used so I can buy some?
Barn , The exact paint color isn’t available, as these boards are finished using a proprietary process that creates their distinctive look and tone. Even with the color name, it would not match exactly using off-the-shelf paint. We recommend taking a board to a local paint store and having them create a custom color match for the closest result. This will give you the best possible match for touch-ups or additional projects.
Can it be put up horizontal as outside siding
Hello Jack, Thank you for the question. These Rustic Shiplap boards can be installed horizontally, but they are designed for interior applications only and are not rated for exterior siding. Installing them outdoors may result in moisture damage, warping, or premature failure. For exterior projects, we recommend using a product specifically manufactured and rated for exterior exposure.
Can it be used as bed slats?
Priya, The 1 in. x 6 in. pine shiplap boards have not been tested or approved for use as bed slats. While they could work with proper spacing and support, pine is a softer wood and may not provide long-term durability. For safety and performance, bed-rated slats or hardwood alternatives are recommended.
Must it be installed on top of gypsum board?
Fedt, the Shiplap Board can be installed over drywall, plaster, hardboard and even old shiplap. Please see the installation instructions for further instructions and tips.
Is this the t105 design?
Hello Clifford, this design is the Shiplap Nickel Gap. We do not offer this product in the T105 profile.
Can this product be used to build an interior barn door? What does the back side look like?
Ford, the back of the shiplap is unfinished. The color and texture will not be the same as the as the dark brown, combed finish that the front has.
