I chose this light to replace a dull 44 year old lamp in a hallway / pantry / furnace room access. The kind of place where you ignore the fixture for 44 years. Out went the old fixture, with it's 60 watt bulb, The new bracket went in easily, the wiring was standard, but it was a bit tricky to like up the bracket bolts with the fixture holes. Failure is not an option and the light lined up. Then you just set the trim ring onto the diffuser, give it a quick twist, and the job is done! It gives off a nice bright even glow of light, transforming the area instantly.

This is one of the more elegant looking flush mount lights that I have seen, unless you want to go full bling with crystals etc.
Fixture has a modern look that will go with any decor in new or mid century style, to ranch house.
The only reason that i did not give it a full five star rating is the materials used in construction. The shade itself is well made, but the globe or glass part should be.. well glass and not plastic. Granted you cannot tell its not glass until you touch it, but at this price point it should be glass. Glass won't discolor over time, and plastics will change.
That being said, it looks super, and is easy to install. LED light puts off a nice warm color.

This is a very stylish semi-flush LED ceiling light. I installed this light in my basement in the gaming area to improve the overall lighting. This light was very easy to install with the provided mounting bracket kit. Just screw in the mounting bracket, connect the two wires and ground, tighten the light housing to the bracket, put on the outer ring and then a quarter turn on the light cover and you are done in under 10 minutes. The light is very bright and very stylish with the black outer fabric covering with a gold accent on the inside. The combination of LED functionality, bright light, and a great look make this a great addition to our home.

I really like the design of this ceiling light. I especially enjoy the golden rim that gives a nice amber effect to the color of the light, very warm and very pleasant. I was less impressed with the way it looks when the light is not on. The cover is made of sad plastic. Here, glass would look much better. Something did not quite work while installing: the screws attached to the mount are way too long and the bolts cannot be screwed completely. As a consequence, the light is not fully flat on the ceiling (see picture.) Eventually, I swapped the provided bolts and I got it right. Instructions are also a bit rough. I don't think I can recommend this product as it is. With a few little changes, it could be a great light!

The EGLO light is a very nice room size ceiling fixture. It is easy to assemble and install. The black and gold shade hangs from the plastic globe. Just affix the base to your ceiling box and the globe/shade assembly twists securely onto the base. All the hardware is provided to install the light on your ceiling light box. Wiring is simple. The LED light is a warm, soft and non-glaring light. The outside of the shade is made of a matte black fabric. The gold inner surface is a glossy metallic material. Quality is very good.

I have bought this light two different times and the same thing happens each time I turn it on. The light buzzes. One of the lights buzzed more than the other. I returned both and eventually bought and installed a different LED light. It was cheaper, and it did not buzz. All that said, the look of this light is perfect. Unfortunately, the buzzing sound made it unacceptable.
