A:  Thanks for reaching out. Depending on your application, surface, and project need, the installation varies. Most commonly, by one of these ways: toe nailing the bracket/corbel from the sides, screwing straight through the corbel or bracket, screwing through the wall from behind into the bracket/corbel, or by using the keyhole to hang the bracket (this is for decorative installation applications only).       The only reason that I only have 4 stars is that I ordered 2 and they were obviously made from different wood. Different in weight and color. It didn't make a difference in the application that I was using them, but it might to some people.
