    Q:Is this wood column pre-treated for outside use?

    A:  They aren't made for outside use but if you put a good enough finish on it, it will work outside. It's just wood and will do what all wood does outside. A SPAR poly or a good coat of paint, ends included, and repeat every few years should work.

    A:  Thanks for reaching out. These are sturdy, kiln-dried wood. There is no exterior treatment, as they are most commonly used in an interior application. However, a treatment could easily be applied to make them suitable for exterior usage.
