nice looking, easy installation, but...
for whatever reason, the mantle tapers at both ends oh, i. E., runs downhill at both ends. I mean it has enough character already, why do the tapered ends? Pretty much my only complaint.

This is a beautiful mantel but it is not hard to tell that it is a faux mantel. It's actually a little too perfect to be honest. It is very high quality (even though it is a hard foam) and I am happy with the purchase. It's literally just a little too perfect to be an old piece or "driftwood."
