how thick is faux board?

Thank you for your inquiry. Each boards is going to be 1" thick. The allows us to cast sharp detail into the boards and helps them to main rigidity at longer lengths.

The density of our polyurethane products has similar density as pine wood, however, we do not recommend using polyurethane products in any type of load-bearing capacity. For using our polyurethane products in load-bearing applications, we recommend using a metal bracket or fastener to carry the load, then use our polyurethane products to cover up the metal bracket or fastener. This will give the appearance of the polyurethane product giving the support and will give your finished installation a beautiful millwork product.
