Are the slats paintable?
Thank you for your interest in our product! The slats come pre-finished in Puritan Pine and are not intended as a paint-grade product. I’d bet it’s possible to paint them after cleaning, lightly sanding, and applying a bonding primer, but I can’t say for sure whether the results will match your desired outcome.The felt backing is also a concern in this instance. I would advise against it and suggest that you consider our adjustable slat walls if your goal is to paint them.
