AnswersI used the bowl to warm up soup, I warmed my soup up for a minute. The bowl was a bit hot but not hot enough where I wasnt able to pick up the bowl. On my experience, its no different than any other bowl/plate.

I think they are beautiful. Not heavy, and microwave without getting hot. The inky issue I have is I have already had one of my dinner plates chip and one of my mugs had a crack down the side. ☹ now my set is incomplete.

Great Set of Dinnerware
This is a very nice and sturdy set of dinnerware. They look nice, are microwave and dishwasher safe. They are everything I had been looking for in a set of dishes. I bought 2 sets. They shipped quickly and were packaged very well. The Elama company has great customer service and a great replacement policy.

Pleasantly surprised
I was so pleased with the dish set upon the arrival. The dishes were packed well and arrived timely. There were only minimal flaws with the brown paint on the edge running on to the cream or gray/blue portion of the coffee mugs and dinner plates. Other than those minor imperfections, I love the rim on the dishes, they are solid and well worth the money.

We received our plates yesterday & we absolutely LOVE them! They all arrived packaged very well & only one mug had a small chip. I ran them through the dishwasher right away & can't wait to use them. They are very unique & each piece varies slightly from the others; which makes these dishes even more different & beautiful.
