Q:Does this dryer have a light when the door is open?

The drum light will come on whenever the door is opened to illuminate the drum during loading and unloading. Closing the door turns off the light. Not Ventless!!!

This product is not ventless as advertised. Installers came and put it in and when looking behind I notice a vent was hooked up. The whole reason we bought this unit was because we needed a VENTLESS dryer. Called the HD help line and was given the complete run around. They said they had to contact Electrolux for some reason. No reason for that since HD mis-advertised. I will add the photo from HDs website specifically stating ventless. Quality of unit was great but unfortunately useless to us.

Control Lock

I am unable to unlock the control lock on the dryer using the instructions in the manual.

Oh, no! We're sorry to hear that! You should be able to use the Options button to scroll to "Control Lock" and press Select to turn it off. Or, you can unplug the dryer for 30-120 seconds to reset the computer.
