Gourmet 7-Eggs Yellow Easy Egg Cooker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it comes to eggs,  I cook a lot of hard boil eggs because my family loves egg salad. However, hard boiling them can be time consuming. I was looking forward to this product to shortening the cooking time. Instead, using the automatic egg cooker actually took longer than if I used a pan on the stove. The egg cooker took 16 minutes to cook 7 eggs. When I  boil eggs on the stove, it takes 10 - 12 minutes. The egg hard boiled with the egg cooker looked good on the outside. However, the yolk did not look appetizing. It had an odd yellow color, was very crumbly, and tasted dry. I tried making omlettes using the poaching tray. I found this a more difficult and messy process. With that being said, this product is ideal if you are without a stove and microwave. I personally have no use for it in my kitchen.

This egg cooker comes with the cooking unit, stainless steel cover, removeable stainless steel egg tray, poaching tray, omelet tray, piercing pin and measuring cup. Plus instructions and some recipes. The unit is compact and very simple to use. The tray holds up to seven eggs. You can do less eggs if you prefer. It's very simple to use. You first fill measuring cup to desired amount. Then you pour the water onto heating plate. You then place egg cooking rack on top. You then pierce your egg and place them on the rack. Place lid on and press power button. When the timer sounds the eggs are done and you press power again to turn buzzer off. Let me first say the water measuring cup and time for me was not accurate. I put water in for a hard boiled egg. And when I opened the egg it was still runny. I ended up turning off and putting in half more water and cooking again. It does state in the instructions that if your egg is not cooked due to it being larger or to cold. That your to leave the eggs in a few minutes after the buzzer beeps. But its hard to tell if your egg Is cooked. After a few trys I got better at how long to cook them.  The unit come with auto shut off with buzzer. The buzzer sound is very quiet. And the buzzer will not stop unless you press power button or unplug the unit. The piecering pin is easy to use. I was afraid I would crack the egg. However I never did. I really love how the eggs peel. I never had an egg peel so easily before. After a couple times of cooking my cooking tray became discolored and stained from the water. However its easy to clean with some vinegar and a light scrubbing. The omelet tray makes a omelet egg. There is some room so you can add a few ingredients to the eggs if you like. The omelet comes out very fluffy. However I did not like the texture of the omelet. I did not try the poaching tray as I do not eat poached eggs. This egg cooker is so simple to use I plan on cooking all my hard cooked eggs in this from now on.

My eggs turned out beautifully and were so much easier to peel. I cooked 6 eggs at a time and cooking was consistent with all of them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to try this egg cooker because my husband loves hard-boiled eggs and likes to make them himself, however, his hands are quite unsteady and sometimes weak-so I worry about him spilling boiling water on himself. This is such a cute little cooker. It comes with a tray for 7 eggs, trays to cook omelets or poach eggs, and a water measuring container with a piercing tool in the bottom. Making the hard-boiled eggs took about 15 minutes. Just add the amount of water needed to the bottom, add the egg tray and fill. Cover and turn on. A buzzer sounds when it is done. No mess, no worry. There are handles on the tray to take them to the sink and rinse in cold water. No water left in the bottom. The eggs come out perfect every single time. We have also used this to make omelets and I may never use a pan again to do that. Compact design lets it be stored right on the counter.

Love how I can now make poached eggs , soft boiled , hard boiled and even omelets with no mess and really easy . Just amazed how wonderful this product is !

Here are some examples of the different types of eggs it can cook: Soft, medium and hard boiled, poached eggs and even omelets! It takes half the amount of time to cook than regular stovetop eggs. So happy I got this! It’s been a timesaver with my kids!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this cute little egg cooker. I didn't think that I needed it. But, it was so easy to use. I made my husband an omelette with it. Easy-peasy! The instructions are easy to understand. And, the cooker is simple to use. Basically, just add the water, add the ingredients, let the machine cook the food, and then enjoy. My husband thought the omelette was light, fluffy, and best of all delicious. Pros: Uses little electricity. Easy to understand directions. Doesn't heat up kitchen. Cooks by itself. No need to watch, stir, etc. Easy cleanup. Takes up little counter/cabinet space. Recipes booklet comes with it. Cons: Cannot add meat products [to omelette]. Only makes small omelettes. Overall, I like this little egg cooker. It "boils" 7 eggs, poached eggs, and makes omelettes. This is a lifesaver, just for the boiled eggs. Now, instead of putting eggs in a pot of water, waiting for it to come to a boil, then covering, turning off and letting rest for 20 minutes until done. I can just add a little water (depends on type of boiled eggs: soft, medium, hard), add eggs, cover, turn on. Then, the machine does the cooking. Boom! No sweat. I would definitely recommend this little kitchen addition. As a matter of fact, my 3 adult daughters saw it,and how easy it was to use, and they want it. So, I'm thinking Christmas presents for each of them. Because I'm not giving them mine. The next thing I'm going to make is boiled eggs, for deviled eggs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Elite Gourmet Easy Egg Cooker is the best thing in my kitchen. This little gadget has made my life so much easier! My family eats a lot of boiled eggs and no matter what I tried they almost always were hard to peel. The Elite Gourmet Easy Egg Cooker is amazing and has changed my life, seriously... It is so easy to use, you fill the included measuring cup with water to the line for type of egg you want, I choose hard. Then pour the water on the metal plate, place the egg holder down, and put the eggs in the spots. Then you simply put the dome cover on and press the button, that's it!! It beeps when it is done and you place the eggs in an ice bath for a couple minutes and they come out perfect every time! They are so easy to peel and the shells usually come off in 2 pieces. It has simplified my busy life and this is my favorite thing. I have told everyone they need one, lol!! When you make poached eggs or omelets, you place the included trays on top of the egg holder, not directly on the metal tray like others have done, that will melt the plastic obviously. Poached eggs come out perfect as well. I haven't tried an omelet yet. After using, the metal try will have a little brown spot on it. After it cools down, just simply wipe with a wet paper towel with a little white vinegar and dish soap and then wipe again with just water on the paper towel, that's what I do and it looks new after that. Just buy it!! It's a life changer!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love eggs in our house, but my son will only eat them if they are hard-boiled. It's a chore to boil them on the stove - they take forever, and then your kitchen smells like toots for 3 days. So when I had the chance to try out the Elite Gourmet Easy Egg Cooker, I was excited to do so. First of all, it's very aptly named - I don't think the process could be made any easier: plug it in, pour the measure of water in the reservoir plate, poke a hole in the wide end of the egg with the provided tool then place them in the holder, replace the lid, press the button, and wait. In about 10 minutes or so, your eggs are done, and perfectly cooked. The yolk is a lovely bright yellow, with not a hint of the gray tinge that they get when boiled on the stove. But I think my favorite thing has to be that this process is completely odorless! The booklet says that by poking the small hole in one end, it 'releases the sulfury compounds' that cause the unpleasant smell. I don't know where they go, maybe the hot steam vaporizes them or something, but there is no bad smell left behind, and it's awesome. I love this little gadget, and would recommend it to anyone who cooks eggs on a regular basis.

The eggs come out perfect each time and are so easy to peel. It’s never been easier to make poached eggs! Instructions are easy to understand. I love the clear lid and watching it steam up. I have this in mint and looks cute in my kitchen. It doesn’t take up much space at all. This product is eggcellent!!
