Excellent sink from Elkay, I was in need of a new kitchen sink and I really wanted stainless steel in order to update the look of my kitchen. This sink was perfect because it provides a drop in (from the top) mounting solution, so I did not have to replace my current counter tops. Mounting this sink was easy with the screw clips that you insert from the cabinet below. The edge profile of the sink sits nice and flat on my countertop for a seamless look. I really like how deep this sink is for washing larger pots and pans without making a huge mess. The underside of this elkay sink has nice sound deadening material applied from the factor and comes with a nice stainless wire frame for the inside of the sink to prevent things from scratching the bottom of the sink. One precut hole for the faucet in the center for a nice modern look. Easy to clean and great look really make for a great sink that all of my guests have complimented.

This is a thick sink. It's very strong. Between the thick steel and the coating on the outside of the sink, it's quieter than the average steel sink. It's a smaller sink - only 25 inches across - but it's perfect for my basement bar, where I'm trying to maximize space. The grate on the bottom of the sink is very handy. It has rubber feet to protect the sink. It keeps things from falling onto the bottom of the sink and making a lot of noise. You can also leave things to sit on the rack and they will dry, aided by the extra air circulation around the rack. Overall, a great sink.

Love my new kitchen sink, looks so nice

I do love this sink its also very flexable and can be mounted both as a drop/in or under mount, and its huge. I selected this sink because of its square styling with slightly rounded corners for easier cleaning. Also because it was over drop-in or undermount which was a plus for a future change to solid surface counters. The sink can be kept looking nice but it requires drying after using.

This Elkay Avenue single bowl stainless sink is the perfect size for a prep sink or place where you need to save on space but not compromise function. Made of top notch quality 18 gauge 304 stainless steel with a sound deadening pan to reduce noise and vibration for a more pleasant dish washing experience. You will notice the difference if you have ever had a sink that doesn't have this feature. I love the versatility of this sink. It can be used either as an undermount or drop in installation. Comes with a stainless steel bottom grid which makes the sink double as a drying rack in small spaces. Does not include the drain assembly and drain basket. The sink is 25 inches wide by 22 inches front to back by 9 inches deep. Requires a 30 inch cabinet to install into. Weighs just under 14 pounds.

This is a really nice sink from Elkay. It is a deep single sink with one hole for installing a faucet. The sink comes with the clips for installation. Above counter sinks are easy to install and do not require exact cutouts requiring finishing of the cut edges. This sink includes an insulation coating to allow the water in the sink to maintain temperature for extended periods and deaden any noises. The wire inlay prevents any staining from objects left in the sink, and to promote quicker drying. The metal is thick and is resistant to dents from dropping objects. Stainless steel resists staining and is easy to clean out.

Exactly what we needed. Perfect size and quality for our smaller kitchen sink. It's actually quite difficult to find a sink in this size. We replaced a 20 year old Elkay sink of the same size. The under-mount clip track was a tad deeper in this new model. We had to cut out an additional quarter of an inch in our solid surface countertop. Not a big deal, but you'd think Elkay would keep with a standard sizing over the years. For the value, it's perfect – Ours came with some minor scratches that aren't not really noticeable. The Stainless Steel sink has almost a brushed texture to the finish. We paired this Elkay sink with a Delta Faucet and a Moen sink disposal, both from HomeDepot. We love the single hold, clean look to the faucet deck. The edging of this sink is slightly beveled but overall has a super clean and modern look. Ample sound dampening and sink depth. The metal grid bottom is a nice touch making this sink feel much more premium. In the end we have ZERO complaints about this sink.

The clean cut corners and straight drop on the edges of its bowl suggest Elkay Avenue 25-inch single bowl dual mount kitchen sink was designed with a modern kitchen in mind. Since this is a dual mount sink, it can be simply mounted on top of the countertop or mounted from underneath for a cleaner look. The sink comes with a pre-drilled hole for the kitchen faucet and contains everything you need to mount the sink. It even has a cardboard template with the actual size to help with planning the mount. The packaging is great as you would expect an Elkay product. One thing to note though is this sink is a bit on the heavier side.

This Elkay Sink is made of 18 guage, Type 304 stainless steel, has a center drain, a flat bottom with straight sides which provide more usable space, and a generous 9" deep bowl which will fit your large cookware. The entire underside of the sink is coated with a sound deadening pad to minimize noise and also comes with a metal grid rack which has plastic rubber feet to prevent scratching the sink. The sink can be installed as over-countertop or undermount and a template is provided. This sink requires a 30" cabinet. The sink is heavy, weighing 13.9 lbs, and well made for years of service. This sink is designed for single hole faucets. Faucet and drain assembly are not included.

This sink is made of attractive and highly corrosion resistant Type 304 stainless steel with graceful contours lending a very smooth interior. Its appearance further is enhanced with a brushed finish. See a general view on photograph 1. A single punched hole on the deck flange will accept a modern uni-lever or optically actuated faucet. The single bowl arrangement and 9-inch depth allow washing some of your largest cookware, rinsing much produce or thawing the largest roasts. The sink comes with a full-size installation template (See photograph 2.), instructions and the mounting clips seen on photograph 3. All of its lower surfaces have polyurethane sound deadening material spray applied. See photographs 4A and 4B. The flanges have channels spot welded to their undersides that fasten the Elkay drop-in screw anchors. See photograph 5. Because of its generous proportions, the sink fits nicely into the countertop over a double door base cabinet as was shown on photograph 1. Installation of this drop-in sink is easy. A very clear view of final assembly is shown on the SPECIFICATIONS sheet linked to the Home Depot product listing. Likewise, the manufacturer's WARRANTY is so linked. Of course there is an INSTALLATION GUIDE similarly attached. And, of particular interest is the USE AND CARE MANUAL which warns of the effects of chlorides upon stainless steel. In short, chlorides promote intergranular stress corrosion cracking (SCC) in austenitic (300-series) stainless steel alloys. And while it is a lesser problem below 150 F service temperatures, immersion in some cleaning products and prolonged exposure to their vapors (including storing them in under-the-sink (poorly ventilated) base cabinets) can promote a chemical attack to the sink material. One does need to purchase a drain adapter and strainer basket to complement this sink. An Elkay bottom protection grid is provided. See photograph 6. This is quite an enhancement. It can prevent scratches and dings. It's made of attractive stainless steel with gentle plastic feet. They create a convenient air space (like a dish drainer) for drying dishes in an otherwise empty sink and the grid serves as a coarse strainer making the disposal of peels, cores and husks easy when prepping fruits and vegetables.
