It is disappointing that the sink is beautiful but it’s not durable and scratches way too easily. I had no choice and was stuck keeping it because the contractor couldn’t come another day to install another sink for me. And I don’t cook a lot which means less dishes to clean and I notice it scratches way too easily regardless even with little use . I had my kitchen remodeled and it’s a shame that I have a new sink that Can’t look as beautiful as it should because of the scratches. A sink should be made durable and scratch resistant but this one is too delicate . I wish there was a way to remove the scratches. I guarantee you I am not the only customer with this issue so that being said the manufacture should include some kind of polisher kit to remove the scratches. It’s not worth the money if the quality of it is not there due to the sink looking all scratched up immediately.. I’m definitely not a happy customer. Plus it’s stains so easily with watermarks and I have to dry the sink with a microfiber towel every time I get the sink wet.

I had this installed with my new countertop. The professional installers took the time to level it, seal it and support it from below.
The sink does it's job very well, no water has fallen on.the cabinet floor below it. My biggest pan and casserole dish fit in it. The sleek, square look makes it appear larger than any of the others I looked at. And the stainless steel.will clean easier than my previous sink.

This sink looks great! It definitely gives us the modern look that we were going for. We updated from an older stainless steel double bowl sink to the Elkay deeper single bowl. Though I do wish that the company logo was printed on both sides of the sink. I chose to put the drain at the bottom left. So the logo is not visible. I would have liked have been able to see it. I love that I can comfortably wash pots and pans and still have room on the other side of the sink. It's very easy to clean and maintain. It will scratch as stainless steel does, so be prepared. Definitely happy with this product.

We had this sink installed one week ago (7 days) and the plumbing hooked up the next day. Within hours of using the water, we had RUST spots. I expected a little more from this sink since it wasn't the least expensive one out there. I do love the offset drain because it allows us to install pull out waste containers on the other side.

As a cook and baker, I like single bowl large sinks. The sink is well made and the sound proofing is very good. What I found interesting on this sink is the offset drain location and the reason I got the sink. One thing that drives me nuts in center drain sinks is the garbage disposal basically makes the sink cabinet worthless for storing anything other than a few small bottles. By this drain location off to the side, I can store warehouse sizes of garbage bags, dish washing liquid, and dishwasher cleaning tabs and have room to spare!
An important note is this sink needs a 36" base cabinet. Most 32" sinks can fit in a 33" sink base, but not this one. Great value for a great sink!

I am overly impressed the quality of the crosstown under mount stainless steel sink,
Packaging was excellent and very protective. I was a bit worried it would damage easily but after inspection I was satisfied. It comes with a exact detentions stenciled that I am giving to the guys I hired to install my new counter tops. I included some pictures to show the packaging quality just in case anyone is wondering. You will like this sink.

This will sound like a broken record, but I wish I spent some time reading some reviews before blindly buying a "respected" brand sink such as Elkay. We finally got our flooded house repaired and placed the beautiful new sink in our brand new kitchen. After a couple of days the sink is scratched like someone just sat there and rubbed a metal rake on it. WOW! What a disappointment. After hopping on a checking out others' similar issues, it doesn't seem like Elkay is much help in resolving this flaw in their product. As someone in the design/construction industry, I feel compelled to stay away from Elaky for my clients' sake.
