The good: looks nice, spray pressure and pattern are good, water doesn’t spray everywhere. The so-so: faucet stalk has more play than I would like. The top ledge has a sharp radius that is hard to clean. The bad: the drain is tightened against a plastic housing, not enough force to seal it well. Plumber putty migrated into housing, sink leaked 1.5 years after installation by licensed plumber.

The Elkay Crosstown Stainless Steel Single Bowl Dual Mount Kitchen Sink with Workstation Kit is Amazing! Extremely high quality and the stainless is nice and bright. The stainless is backed with sound absorbing pads also. It pretty much comes with everything you could possibly need to get set up, a faucet, drain, guard for the bottom as well as cutting board and strainer which fits in a lip around the sink. Perfect for anyone that does not have a lot of counter top space. Sink was an easy replacement, only had to trim the existing counter a tiny bit, easy mounting and drain hookup.

Highly recommend this sink. Also would be a great sink for an outdoor entertainment space.

Be sure to look for all the parts before starting this project. The installations clips were “hidden” in one of the spacer cardboard frames that support the sink during shipping. This sink is super great and perfect for the cook/chief. The sink is large and deep enough to wash all you produce in one easy step and then used to clean your dishes too. I would give yourself about 2 hours for Installation when replacing an existing sink. All day for new cutout and install. This beautiful sink can be easily installed either on top (all needed hardware included) or under the sink (will need extra hardware not included). Drain is offset to one side so if your sink drain is in the middle section area (as traditionally is) than the sink’s drain sprout will not interfere. The drain comes with an easily removable strain basket that inserts into the drain itself keeping food scraps from entering into the drainage. But just in case food scraps do enter the drainage there is enough room to install a garbage disposal. The faucet shows one way to install with the deck plates however I showed how the deck plates could also be used giving you 3 different options to show piece your faucet and sink. (pics) PRO: Deep Sink, drain strainer, sink Rack on the bottom for washing and draining at the same time, A support Edge around sink to use with the cutting board, the wash rack, and/or the Drying rack, Heavy Duty Faucet, under or over counter mounting options. Template included CONS: cannot really think of any, this sink is near perfection in Craftsman, Elegance, and Utility. Although it would have been nice to include hardware to install the sink from under the counter if one desired to do so without having to go out an purchasing the needed hardware separately. Highly recommend. I will not go back to the standard sinks again.

A gorgeous set. The sink is heavier than expected. It has a sound proofing coating all around the underside and added sound proofing pads on each side. Knock it and all you hear is a dull thunk. 33" X 22" X 9". 4" from sink bowl to back sink edge. Top mount hole size approximately 30" X 17 1/2". Flush mount hole size approximately 31" X 21". Template is enclosed with lines for top mount, flush mount and undermount installations. The faucet that came with my sample has a shiny chrome finish and an industrial style appearance. It's also hefty and appears well made. Drain assembly with basket and escutcheon are included. Also included are cutting board, bottom grate, silicon rollie mat, and a gorgeous strainer that has wooden handles. All accessories appear well made and have some heft to them. The cutting board I received is solid but appears very dry, probably needs some mineral oil. And that's the worst thing I can come up with as criticism for this package. It's not even a flaw, cutting boards need maintenance anyway. My favorite parts are the sink with the all around soundproofing and the strainer basket. Very excited to get this installed.

We are really enjoying this new Elkay stainless steel sink workstation. Got it just in time to install in our recently renovated ADU. The large tub design, as well as the inside "ledge" that allows for the included cutting board and strainer tray to rest on is great and super convenient. The cutting board is 1" think and made of beautiful wood. It's so nice, it makes you not want to cut on it. LOL! The included faucet is also great and is easy to use. It snaps back into the holder with ease when you're finished with it. The construction and stainless finish on the sink seems high quality and is doing well to resist scratches and water spots. The outer and under side of the sink is well insulated with a plastic-like coating which deadens the sound from clanking pots and pans. The included small strainer basket that sits in the drain opening is genius. It has a convenient flip-up wire handle for easy removal if/when it needs to be emptied. Also included in this sink set is a large chrome/metal wire rack with rubber feet that you can place in the bottom of the sink which protects against scratches or dings from heavy pans or items. It's awesome and very convenient to have all of these extra accessories included in the box. Overall, we are very happy with this. Elkay did not skimp on the quality of this workstation at all. Looks great as well! If you're looking for a single tub style stainless sink with a faucet and great accessories that are included, this one is a great choice. Installation can be tricky for some, so I would recommend a pro plumber for the install. It took my guy about 2 hours total. He's a pro.

This sink’s size and depth provide you with all of the advantages or a farmhouse sink without the need for a special counter or sink base. Further, this huge single bowl sink, complete with substantial sound deadening, has several additional features and accessories. First, the workstation comes complete with a brushed stainless steel, single handle restaurant style faucet that features a flexible stem and adjustable flow nozzle/spray. Next the sink is designed with a slight ledge along its top edge. This ledge provides a surface for accessories to rest on and slide from side to side. Those accessories include a very heavy duty cutting board, a rubber-coated drain rack, and a rectangular shaped colander style bin for draining veggies or catching scraps. There is also a padded stainless steel rack that covers the entire bottom of the sink that provides an additional drainage option. Even the drain basket is enhanced with a removable strainer basket and a separate stainless steel stopper. This is one quality sink workstation. Two thumbs-up.

A few examples are, the thickness of the stainless steal is 18 gauge, which puts in the high end of the spectrum of quality sinks. It also has the insert for the bottom of the basin so your dishes don't sit on the bottom of the sink and also so it can dry better even if there is something in it. In addition it comes with several workspace savers like the strainer basket and a cutting board and others. It also comes with a faucet that is 18 inches above the bottom of the basin where the sprayer is attached and 29 inches at the top of the arc. The included faucet is high quality with a pull down style spigot that switches between spray and normal water flow. The basin has very highly crafted corners and seams that not only will withstand a lot of use and abuse, but also look very cool. Also in addition to being made out of thick, high grade stainless, it has sound dampening pads (of coarse, not visible) the outside of the bowl. One thing you should consider is the fact that it is a single basin setup and it is deep. The offset drain and the new location of the garbage disposal made it impossible for me to install without a major drainpipe reconfiguration. It isn't going to be a difficult job, it will just take longer to install and another trip to the hardware store. We really like the way this sink looks and we are sure we will love the extras when we get used to using them...very satisfied with this purchase.

My product arrived undamaged, with easy to follow instructions and with ALL accessories and faucet. The sink is very well made and so are all the accessories. The faucet is of great quality as well and came with the water supply lines attached and the faucet and sprayer provide ample water pressure. For easier installation-I installed the faucet and disposal mount prior to installing the sink. I did minimal trimming on the existing hole for the new Elkay sink to fall into place. The other amazing feature of the sink is that it either mounts on top of the counter top or underneath-great added feature. I Highly recommend the Elkay Crosstown Workstation for your next remodel project!!

The Elkay Crosstown SS Workstation is easily one of the nicest sinks to use and look at that I can think of at this time of writing this review. This sink is thicker, has sound dampening materials and pads that make it virtually silent when you place item into it or strike the side of the sink unlike most SS sinks which sound like someone stuck a cymbal. The finish is very smooth with no sharp edges or corners which is great. I've actually never heard of a "workstation kit" sink before, but this setup is amazing and really helps when you have two people prepping for meals if you have limited countertop space. As someone who works in the restaurant industry, the restaurant style faucet/sprayer is a must have and is far superior than the pull/retractable type that looks like a normal faucet. Once you use one, you'll wonder how you ever lived without one. The accessories are made with detail and thought, and aren't just "accessories" by any means. The roll-able drying rack can be used for more than just dishes or pans. The cutting board and rinse basin are made is quality wood and stainless steel too. This single sink design is deep and the best in my opinion as it gives you the maximum amount of space for whatever you made need it for. I'm so glad to be discarding the dual sink design we had previously. The included template is genius, and made installation a breeze with an overall install time of under 2 hours. Other parts also include their own instructions which is super helpful. In the end, I'm extremely pleased to have this in our home, as it makes daily tasks less stressful while saving time and effort.
