Not for 1.5 inch countertops
The description is wrong. By no means are these long enough for a countertop that is 1.5 inches. You must buy the extra long ones. Having returned these and bought the extra long ones, the quality of these is much better than the ones that came with my top mount steel sink. They grip much better and are better designed.

These do not work
When it comes to mounting a sink on a standard laminate countertop, these will not work. I’ve installed over 50 countertops this year alone (granite, corian, laminate) and these will not work. Why these are even in store is beyond me. Don’t buy these thinking “well maybe I can get one or two to work” believe me, you won’t. These are absolute garbage, and should be discontinued immediately.

Too Short
These will not work on countertops more than 1-1/4" in thickness. Get the HD6CLIPXL if countertop is thicker than 1 1/14". Trust me.

Worked very well. Had to install a used stainless steel...
Worked very well. Had to install a used stainless steel sink with u-shaped rails onto a 1.5 " Birch butcher-block counter surface. Very satisfied.
