Yes it can be mounted either through the top of a countertop or can be mounted to the bottom of granite, quartz or corian counters.

This beautiful sink is really packaged well for shipping with bags of expandable foam at each corner top and a large cushion of foam on the bottom. Looks like it could be handled by gorillas and survive just fine. Everything is in the box ready to go except the drain. It uses a standard kitchen sink drain. The rim is wide enough to forgive a little slip I had when cutting the hole and the enclosed template was easy to draw around for a cutting line. The sink is beautiful.

"Elkay Quartz Classic Drop-In/Undermount Composite 16 in. Single Bowl Kitchen Sink in Black" This sink came well packaged to avoid any damage during shipping. This sink itself has an attractive finish, so attractive that it makes it unique, so make sure it matches the area you want to put it. It has a bit of a sparkly finish to it, so take a good look at it! I could see this being attractive in an area that gets occasional sunlight as it may "shimmer" a bit in the sun!

The Elkay Quartz Classic Drop-In/Undermount Composite 16" Single Bowl Sink, Black Quartz is made in Germany. It comes with undermount clips and drop-in clips. Both are press fit into bracket holes on each of the two sides of the sink. There is an included template for cutting out the countertop prior to installation and very detailed instructions for drop-in or undermounting. The sink is very solid composite, comes packaged very well in the box. This would work great as a small kitchen sink, island sink, bar sink, small utility room sink or even outdoor entertainment area sink. There is no flange extension to mount faucet or tap handles so remember to leave room for this when installing. All sealing surfaces are machined for flat fit.

I've been trying to find a square sink this size for a while and could only ever find it in stainless. This black quartz sink is just what I was looking for! I love the material, the size and the depth of this sink. It is absolutely perfect! The material doesn't scratch and is easy to clean. Installation was a breeze as it comes with the template you need to make your cuts.

The Elkay quartz drop in (undermount) kitchen sink is perfect for that small kitchen. My plan is to use it for my laundry room sink. Note that there are no holes for a faucet, so you need to have the hole already made on granite counter tops. Three small is perfect for that small kitchen or laundry room sink. The sink does come with kit to under mount the sink. Overall, move sturdy sink for kitchen or laundry room.
