Standard 32 in. x 60 in. x 77 in. Walk-In Shower Kit in White with Low Threshold

My installation contractor had problems with the base. The front flange had been cut 4-1/2 inches wide on the left narrowing to 3-1/2 inches wide on the right - see photos. He had to build a solid wood frame uner the base to fully support it. The installed unit looks great but I was not happy with such a quality flaw. I would appreciate a rebate on what I paid expecting the advertized quality. I notice you now have this unit on a sale price.

The shower is spacious and easy to keep clean. It is solid built and is difficult for one person to install alone. Drain was difficult to align and solid construction was difficult to cut for handle and faucet.

The installer found the unit difficult to install. There is a vertical seam that he was unable to properly close. Other than that it's a nice unit.

After area was fully prep for installation it took the installer a full day to install the shower. The base unit was not level and the 2 wall panels would not align. It needed extensive shimming, grinding and notching wall studs to make it to go together. Our contractor has installed and built showers for over 20 years and this is the worst product he has ever installed. The quality control at the factory is very poor. All 3 pieces should align and drop in place. This product would be a nightmare for a home owner to install. Once installed it looks good and structural it is very strong and will last forever. The product needs major quality control improvement at the factory.

Need to return to store ASAP I need to purchase a different model

I'm a professional and have installed many showers. This unit is sturdy with a great finish, but the design is flawed. The base has to be installed first, and even if your floor is perfectly level, the base still has to be shimmed in the rear of the unit. This is difficult once you set it into the framing. The side wall sections mount to the base using pre-cut pilot holes that sit on top of a steel peg. The pre-cut holes are not lined up properly and I had to drill my own. The sidewalls come together in the center and butt against each other with no type of overlap to prevent water from coming in. The seam in the middle of the wall just comes together and has to be caulked. This is incredibly unbelievable for a $1700 shower unit. I will never purchase again. I'm expecting a call back from the homeowner that I installed it for once the caulk joint begins to break free and leaks begin to happen. A liability for the contractor who installs the unit. Ella gets away scot free after taking our cash for a very poorly designed shower. PASS this one up, folks.

The contractor had trouble with the install. the walls wouldn't line up so ended up with them overlapping. The base has three grooves supposedly to improve water drainage but these grooves make standing and moving around in the shower uncomfortable and sometimes throws you off balance. We bought this stall to make showering easy as we age but now we're considering of replacing it after just a few months of use. It definitely wasn't a good value for us.
