Installation is quick and simple. With its 15/16 in. finish frame you can conceal the rough opening in your wall or ceiling to provide a finished look. They can be painted or wallpapered to match any decor for a pleasing look.
  • Ideal for use in new construction or remodeling projects in masonry, tile, wood or other wall and ceiling surfaces
  • Doors are prime coated, suitable for painting or wall papering and are fabricated from durable 16-Gauge galvanized steel

Q:Does it come with a small tube of glue?

Answer This Question

A:  No glue. It's meant to be screwed into the studs behind the drywall; there are two screw holes on each side. But you could use caulk/adhesive behind the flange to hold it in place.

    A:  Lily, The DW series are not fire rated. If you are needing a fire rated door please look at our FR or FRC series.

      A:  The door is heavy metal but because it’s only the face and not an entire box, Whatever is behind it would not be fireproof. I used it strictly for access to my gas line, however, it is located above the heater causing addition heat on the door and there have been no issues.

          A:  Hi Tim, The rough opening is 5 1/2".There is a on the inside of the frame. I hope this helps you.
