About This Product
The Emsco Group Outdoor TrimFree Bedrocks Edging creates a beautiful edge border to enhance your garden or lawn with a look of stacked slate, great for adding definition to any border around your flower beds, mailbox area, playground, etc. The exclusive TrimFree feature forms a barrier to prohibit grass or vegetation growth so no edging is needed after mowing; just mow grass to the edge and no weed whacking is necessary. It adjusts to a 180° angle at the joints to easily form right angles, curves and bends. The edging is easy to install; simply tap in the extra-long spikes to each piece (10 included) with a hammer or mallet. Each pack contains enough edging to cover approximately 20 ft. with all necessary endcaps and spikes included.

This edging was used between rocks and grass in the front yard of my previous residence. I do not know the answers to your questions about product warnings or its use alongside gardens growing food. It looked very nice and installed easily though.
