do i have to transfer the flower in an other pot?

Asked by oty June 12, 2021
1
Answer

The blue pot it arrives in is like a grower’s pot, so I would recommend repotting to something sturdier. However, in my opinion, the repotting isn’t immediately necessary but will eventually need to occur.

Can this plant handle full sun?

Answers

Needs afternoon shade or all day dappled sunlight. In Texas, zone 9b (hot and humid summers) it suffers in full sun and prefers a part-sun situation.

When will this plant be available?

We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future.

Do you prune Endless Summer Crush in late winter? Is it considered a new wood bloomer?

Asked by mb February 26, 2021
1
Answer

This hydrangea blooms on old and new wood. It’s safest not to prune between August and early spring, when you can clear away any dead winter growth. I personally wait to see a bit of growth before I prune away any dead branches because Endless Summers like to surprise me.

Billed for 7: ordered 3. How do I correct

Asked by Jan May 9, 2020

Answer

If the order has not been processed yet and you are still in the process of ordering, there is a “remove” choice at the bottom of the order.

Will one of these plants make a huge bush, like in the 3rd picture? If not how many do you need for that?

Asked by Vs2000 April 5, 2020

Answers

This hydrangea will grow to a maximum of 3ft tall and 3ft wide. That’s what the informational tag says that came with the plant.

Will this be ok in zone 4?

Asked by Dzieg April 4, 2020
2
Answers

Yes. The informational tag that came with the plant stipulates hardiness to Zone 4, -30*F.

When you are expecting the photo above and open the box to find a bunch of bare sticks, it is quite a let down. There should be a disclaimer somewhere that lets the buyer know that at certain times of the year, the plants are dormant. We really have to wait for it to bloom before we can rate this transaction.

The hydrangea I ordered was small -it was advertised as a 2 gallon-it looked more like a 2 quart-far from the picture shown on the site-especially with a $40.00 spend. I saw better sized hydrangeas at Lowes and Home Depot for $20.00. The two plants I received had noticeable trauma and hydration issues like dry soil and droopy leaves-like they were in shock even though the care in a packaging was very good. Very disappointed in the size and quality. I feel I know what I am talking about as I have 16 assorted colors of mature hydrangeas in my garden and have been very successful splitting them over the years.

The plant was in bad condition when it arrived. It looked like a smaller plant had been placed in a 2 gallon pot, it was growing in a single direction. We put it in another planter and used chop sticks to help give it better direction. This was the second order of Hydrangeas we purchased from Home Depot online, 1 out of the 4 1/2 gallons we previously purchased died. After this we just feel its better to purchase plants in store, ourselves. Kind of feel like we were sent whatever was scanned off shelf, no effort was put into plant selection or packaging care. If your going to purchase plants, better to do in person.

I was skeptical about ordering a plant online and having it shipped to home because it can be a hit and miss situation. I sure am glad I took a chance on this one! This is, by far, the BEST looking plant I have received through the mail. Ever. Impeccable packing and beautiful, you won’t be disappointed. Just a note, I purchased this plant from Home Depot and it shipped from Baucoms Nursery in NC.
