Great little fireplace!
'Was a bit worried after reading reviews, but fireplace arrived undamaged, was easy to assemble and works great. Actually seems more durable than expected - good value for the price. We are loving it!

Don’t buy it!!!
I live the style but it rusted immediately after the first time I used it. I painted it with heat resistant paint. Then I made a cover for it and used it one more time. It immediately rusted again! It’s ashame because I really think it’s cute. Too bad they didn’t make it out of durable materials.

It was easy to assemble, although two people make it easier still. It as a removeable ash tray that makes cleaning it out easier. The cage is large enough to have a good cozy fire. Because of the design, you can have people sit all the way around it and enjoy the fire. The cage seemed to stop most sparks from exiting the fireplace. We have only had it for a couple weeks. I think a weatherproof cover would be useful to protect it from the elements when not in use (we used a BBQ cover to protect ours).

I would give this 5 stars - BUT the spark arrestor (screen on top) doesn't fit that well! Look at my enclosed photo: it fits well enough to stay on ... BUT look at that gap on the left hand side, as compared to the right side. Come on guys. Don't you have a measuring tape in that factory over there? On the plus side, very solid product. We found the best results burning those "fake logs" you can buy at several stores out there. Two at a time. Burns clean and doesn't produce a ton of smoke. But if you ever re-measure that top-dome screen and do it right, I'd give this 5 stars hands down.

I spent a LOT of time researching fire pits. I was willing to spend a couple hundred dollars on a decent, well made, thick steel pit that looked like this. Unfortunately they don’t exist. Most are cheaply made, small and over priced. I finally surrendered and bought this. There’s only a few manufacturers out there and they put different names on similar products.
Home Depot had the best price and I bought it there. The problem is the company, Blue Rhino. Trying to get anything from them, including replacement screws is impossible. I tried to get very specific dimensions, and got general dimensions. When I was missing some screws I called the company and they promised to send them, that was two weeks ago. The directions are useless. I put it together myself, but an extra hand would come in handy.
The pit itself is decent. A bit thicker on the bottom than most. The screen is not great, I’ll replace it with one that opens. I put two coats of rustoeum high heat paint that should help keep rust at bay for a while. I like the screen on the side, very much like my last one.
Overall happy with the grill, not the company.
