Great little lantern for power outage. Much better than a flash light. Easy to carry, place on counter or floor and it will give enough light for normal activity. If you want to have a bright light to light up an entire room, this is probably not bright enough. However this is perfect to have one of these for each bedroom and moving around a house, etc. (i.e. We have one really bright light and then 3 of these for people to take if they need to leave the main room) Brighter and safer than candles.
