A: No. This is a rechargable flashlight per say. Red indicater light is on only. When power goes out flashlight turns on.

A: yes. Keep it in the ON position whenever it is plugged in. That way it will turn on in case of a power failure. The switch allows you to turn it off if you are using it as a flashlight when the power is off to conserve the battery. It is also amazing design-the plug on the back can be retracted when not plugged in.

Adequate.

The back reads “refer to instruction manual”. There is no instruction manual! If you’ve got half a brain you can figure out how to extend the prongs and plug it in.

Love this flashlight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Energizer weather ready rechargeable flashlight is such a great product. This light last awhile before you have to recharge it .The best part of this flashlight is there is no batteries. All you have to do is push the grey button and the retractable plug comes right out to plug into the wall. This flashlight doesn't weigh alot at all. It is very easy to hold. I like that its size is not big and bulky .So it can even fit in my purse if I needed to take it with me. I'm definitely happy that I am helping the environment out by not having to buy batteries to use this flashlight. I just plug it in to recharge to use again. This flashlight is a great buy.
