EnviroLite T8 LED tube shop lights are the perfect solution for garages, utility and work areas requiring task lighting. These light fixtures are designed to save energy and lower maintenance costs. The LED tube included uses 30% less power to produce the same amount of light as fluorescent light bulbs. The LED lamp is a low maintenance solution that eliminates the need to replace wired ballasts and drivers because the power source is in the tube. Because it's LED, you will never hear the hum that fluorescent fixtures make. The tube lamp in this shop light provides daylight (5,000K CCT) light at 1,800 Lumens. EnviroLite uses quality LED chips that last for 50,000 hours of continuous use. The fixture and tube comes with a 5 year warranty. Fixtures are UL listed and can be installed in damp locations. The T8 LED tube lamp is DLC listed and qualifies for utility rebates in selected areas.

AnswersI've been very happy with this light fixture and it has fit my needs lighting my workbench very well. I do know that what fits my needs may not necessarily fit other peoples' needs. Apparently our friends at Home Depot understand this as well as a quick search on the Home Depot webpage for shop lights (fixtures with plugs) yielded quite a variety of results from single "bulb/tube" to four "bulb/tube" heavy duty fixtures. There are both LED and fluorescent fixtures in the results. Just a thought, you could always attach a plugged power cord to the fixture of your choice if it doesn't already have one,
do you carry lights like this with 4,000 lumens?

I plugged it in and acted like a strobe light. After checking everything I realized it was the fixture or the bulb. Since it was new I didn’t want to troubleshoot any further than that. I returned it and found some lights that work.

This is a very nice lamp. The only reason I didn't give it 5-stars is because it flickers for about a minute after you turn it off. I have it hanging in my shop area in the basement, so that doesn't bother me that much, but it would if it was hanging in a high traffic area. It was very easy to hang up and power up, no issues regarding that. Other than the flicker issue, I recommend it.

Although I have looked at many, the EnviroLite 4 ft. 1-Light White LED Shop Light with T8 LED 5000K Tube is my first shop light. The fixture emits light that is ultra bright and ultra, ultra white. My other LED fixtures are backlit, but I like the idea of the replaceable T-8 LED tube. This fixture comes on instantly and doesn’t require a warm-up period to reach maximum brightness. Also, there is no hum. Setting up the fixture was simple enough and the EnviroLite directions are easy to follow. Just hang it and plug it in, but there are other options. I notice ports for direct wiring and slotted holes for surface mounting that are not mentioned in the directions. This is a well-manufactured fixture and comes with everything you need to install it as a plug in shop light. The included chain is both short and light, but more than strong enough to securely support this fixture. The plug cord is nice and heavy. This is a complete shop lite that works well and I would definitely recommend the EnviroLite 4 ft. 1-Light White LED Shop Light with T8 LED 5000K Tube to someone that I know.
