Great can light for angled ceilings
These lights match the old Commercial Electric gimbal lights they discontinued a few years ago. It’s the same light. New brand and name. I bought 5 thinking I would have to replace all my old commercial electrics when one went.

Installed two of these great lights over a fireplace that has a sloped cathedral ceiling requiring a directional gimbal light. The install was in an existing standard 6" recessed ceiling can and was a snap to complete - it did have to exchange out the default springs with the also included friction braces). The dimming is great and works without flicker from bright down to a faint glow. The color temperature is just right at 3000k casting a soft white warmness in the room. A perfect replacement for the old can lights and a much more energy efficient LED light to boot. Very happy with the outcome and highly recommend.

I think that this is the smartest way to add instant lighting to any gallery wall or to a single piece of art.
Here's how it works:
You pop the trim off of a nearby POT light and then remove the light bulb. Then, you screw the threaded electrical plug in where the bulb used to be. Then, fasten the new trim to the POT light using the spring-loaded tension rods. The new trim already incorporates a 4,000 k LED bulb on a gimbal-style spot. The gimbal allows it to tilt and swivel in all 180 degrees. If your needs change, simply move it to another POT light and reinstall the old trim as needed. The trim is Brushed Nickel and looks like rich metal. This is a beautiful piece.

Overall nice quality recessed 4000K Directional LED ceiling light. 4000K is closer to daylight bright while 3000K is a softer white. Easy to install into an existing 6 inch ceiling housing or in my case I purchased new, shallow, low profile ones since I had to account for old ceiling clearance issue. The directions sheet provides a good number of manufacturer and model numbers of housings that will fit these lights. They give off a good amount of dimmable light and no bulb change worries for a very long time!

This is a great replacement light to use in an existing can or if you wanted to install a new can this would be a good choice for a directional light fixture. This light has an adjustable focal point with directional pointing system. This light swivels around so that you can point the light at any point. The light is awesome in that it just screws into any existing socket in the can which makes it easy to install in any can.
It is clean and sharp looking and can be used in any location. Its not to bright but bright enough to light up where you focus it.

Can anything looking so nice be any easier to install. When installing the gimbal into an existing medium base socket, installation time is roughly two minutes, unless you take into account the time to get a ladder and put it back. The fixture fits extremely tight and firm with the tension clips, which are perhaps the strongest and most practical I have ever dealt with.
The light output blew me away ... so much I could not get a clear photo with it turned on. I love the directional beam, and I am guessing from the warm, rich appearance, this is not the end of installing these in the house.
I also appreciated the localized disconnect which is mandated by electrical code. Not only does it get the mandatory on site disconnect for servicing, it keeps the wires from twisting when screwing the base into the socket. Make certain the disconnect is disconnected before screwing in the base and it will be impossible to twist the wires. It also adds another dimension to safety.

This is a Great Little Light Fixture. It allows you to replace those old can lights without replacing the whole can. It has the ability to rotate and swivel in it's housing so you can point the light at a specific area. It is also suitable for mounting in damp areas like a shower or bathroom or even in the eaves outside. It is a dimmable fixture also. The brushed Bronze looks great and very upscale. Overall a Beautiful fixture that would compliment any area. Another great feature is it requires no wiring at all. It simply screws into the old light bulb socket, So an electrician is not needed.

The good, the bad and the wicked sharp. Great easy switch over from incandescent recessed lighting to LED for energy savings. The light itself is good, not bad on amount of light though not as nice a color as incandescents. The swivel is awesome, love that feature for directional light from a can. Super easy to install, detach and screw in the adaptor, reattach and pop in the light. Looks good, modern and stylish. My only issue is that the metal tabs are too thin and sharp. I cut my hand when removing it from the box so do take care.

Slowly replacing all the incandescent bulbs in the house and needed a tilting can for a wall wash for a wall with a painting. This is matching warm light (3000K) to the rest of the room and is a quick and easy swap out. Unscrew the bulb and remove the can trim ring, then replace with this assembly. Screws into the bulb socket and pops in as a replacement trim ring. The pictures show the pivot and wall wash. The only slight negative is this bulb is not instant-on but about a 1/4 to 1/2 second lag to on when all my other LED bulbs in the same series are instant on, so the difference is noticeable. Otherwise the brightness matches everything else in the room.
