8 ft. 600-Watt Equivalent White Integrated LED MV 8,000-Lumen Linear Strip Light

Wanted to brightness from the standard 800 lumens you get. This was exactly what i was looking for. very bright. went right over the old key light holes with a cover included with the lights. Being 8 foot long was a little difficult to install by myself. Worth the money.i went with these as i didn't want wires running on the inside of the garage wall as i plan to finish the garage one day.

This light is quite bright and has a good color temperature for a shop or a work room, the color temperature, I would call it about 5800k it is just slightly less blue than my 6500k T8 bulbs, and a fair about whiter than my T12 CW HO cool white bulbs. The light output is about equal to 2 -F96 T12 CW HO fluorescent bulbs. The quality is about what you see for fluorescent fixtures, fairly light weight metal. The lens cover is quite light weight and thin, you will need to be careful with it. The fixture itself is quite easy to install, it comes with screws, wall anchors, wire nuts and 2 plates that snap to the back of the fixture to cover the electrical box if you are mounting it to one, all that is needed is to push the wires into the quick connect plug, hook up the ground, and screw the light to the ceiling. A couple of nice features are that the plug on the quick connect has 4 holes so you can daisy chain lights, it also will unplug from the light if you need to change your fixture. It has wires to add in a dimmer is you desire. The light also has "safety cables" that hold up the LED parts to the base while you are installing and wiring it. The mounting holes are in kind of funny places toward the end of the fixture and are fine if you are installing it lengthwise with rafters or drilling your own holes in drywall but they do not line up with the joists if you are mounting perpendicular to the rafters, so you would need to drill your own mounting holes in the fixture base. It is easy to take off the lens cover by just squeezing in a little and pulling. To remove the LED strip from the base you just use a small screwdriver and pry a little between the base and the LED strip and pull to release the clips. They say the fixture is good for damp locations. The fixture is about 96" long, 2.25" wide, about 2.75" tall and weighs about 8lb 10oz. It comes with a 5 year warranty. All in all a nice fixture that would be a nice replacement for a two tube 8ft fluorescent fixture.

They are quite bright. I put 6 in our 3-car garage with 12’ ceilings. I also liked that there is a metal flange included to cover the 3.5” receptacle opening. These are fairly easy to install with the actual lights held by a safety cord. Inspect for shipping damage. One of mine was bent; but fixable

Great lights,well made,easy to install. I installed 10 lights in a 1200 sq. Ft. garage, plenty of light.
