Price on LED recessed lighting trim have come down nearly 3/5 over the last several years to the point where I always include them in my projects. It really stands out especially in the under $300k Atlanta market. The look is much cleaner with the trim than just regular recessed lights. I personally prefer bright lights as I get older but the soft lights really are best when you don't know who the eventual buyer will be.

I ordered & installed the LED lighting in order to upgrade from the usual sad, poorly-lit color tones of a "soft white" incandescent bulb in my clothing closet. The soft white bulb made it difficult to pick out my colorful shirts as it was difficult to differentiate the colors. Also, the recessed light fixture with the incandescent bulb built up a terrible amount of heat and even caused the original light cover to melt in a few places.
The LED light works wonderfully, is FAR brighter, with pure white light and a great color index. It is significantly cooler - despite being AT LEAST twice as bright!
Installation was not difficult (I used the pre-attached spring clips which hold the light in place by snapping into tabs on the existing fixture). Electrical connection is a breeze, by simply screwing in the bulb socket - to - connector adapter, then plugging into the mating receptacle.
Highly recommended, and worth the wait of ordering! I can now see what color my shirts actually are again. :)

Very easy to install in the existing can lights. The one we ordered to try out was the daylight type. We found it to be too bright so my wife order 14 of the soft white, which was perfect for our kitchen.

Ok our wet rated fixtures kept failing so I replaced the bulbs/covers with these. They are holding up to the moisture from the shower like a champ. 5k is really bright with a blue tint which is perfect for our bath.
