A: The outside knee cap area is soft rubber with some flex and movement to it, and the back part touching you knee is gell filled pocket.
A: The rubber is rigid, but it does have some flex where the grooves are.
A: These are soft, but they are a smaller version. These are meant to be used in a more stationary position than moving around a lot on a surface.
A: The rubber is rigid with a large flat surface area for stability and comfort.
A: The rubber is very rigid, so you have to rely on the elastic straps for articulation. I prefer their rigidity, since the surfaces on which I work can be fairly abusive.
