Chill-Its 6665 Evaporative Cooling Vest
bought this vest late last year for a motercycle ride back home, worked great... went to use it today and it won't hold hardley any water. I was on my boat so I was able to resoak it about every hour. I don't know if I let it dry out to much over the winter or why it won't hold the water. I will let it soak over night and see if holds water better tomorrow. As of now I would not recomend you buying one unless you only want to buy one every year. Will update if it holds water tomorrow.

We apologize this vest is not working for you. Chill-Its 6665 features acrylic polymer crystals housed in a batting material. These crystals do have around a 3 year shelf life, where we suggest ordering a new vest after that duration. It should only take 2-5 minutes in water to fully absorb, so no need to soak overnight, or the polymers will become over saturated. If you feel that your vest is still not functioning properly, please reach out to our Customer Service department at orders@ergodyne.com or 800-225-8238 and we can look into sending a replacement.

This vest saved my life.
I had an eight-hour motorcycle ride to get back home. The temperature was reported as "feels-like" 104º F. Fifteen minutes before I arrived home the car behind me decided to run the yellow light, the only problem, I was stopped at the light right in front of him. If I had not been 100 percent alert, I would have been creamed and possibly dead. This vest kept me cool and alert, saved me from heat exhaustion and fatigue and made my long ride home not only safer, but also fun. When the temperatures soar, this vest is always in my kit.

Got this to use to stay cool on motorcycle rides...
Got this to use to stay cool on motorcycle rides in the hot TX heat. Definitely worked. Not sure why but its kinda slimy like it has soap on it. So beware of that, otherwise it is a great product and I will definitely get a lot of use out of this.
