Q:I have a vegetable garden with corn, peppers, tomatoes, etc. along with some herbs, such as basil and cilantro, but I also have the garden surrounded with marigolds. So should I use this Garden-tone, or should I use Plant-tone for my garden?

Q:The instructions say 3lbs for every 50 square feet. So how does this 27lb bag only cover 385 square feet as in the description of the item? Shouldn't 27 pounds cover 450 square feet?

Filled with mold spores
I started 2 batches of seedlings 3 days ago. For the first batch I used this product. For the second batch I accidentally forgot to mix this in. The first batch is now completely covered in mold spores and the second batch is sparkling clean. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Best plant food
Excellent plant food for just about anything. Slow release. Coupled with a good compost for the microbes that come in it to live in happily, you couldn't do better.

Works well
1st year garden in poor clay soil. This was the only thing that was going to make the garden grow. Had good yield of tomatoes, zucchini, yellow squash, basil, and a watermelon of 47.8 lbs. As someone else said before, a little smelly, but can deal with it.

First used this product last year and I had the best garden I had had in a number of years. I had a bumper crop of bell peppers and tomatoes. I have used this product this year and my peppers are doing great along with my cucumbers which I had not grown in years because they never turned out. Would recommend this product to help your garden grow.

Good all natural fertilizer that is showing good results.
This is a good, balanced natural fertilizer. I use it for container gardening. Attached is a picture of two 'City Picker' container gardens. (Also purchased at Home Depot) They contain a variety of vegetables I planted using this fertilizer. The planter on the left was planted about two months before the picture was taken. The planter on the right was planted about 3 weeks before this picture was taken. You can see very strong growth and we're getting great yields.
