Thank you for your question. Yes, Espoma Garden Lime can be used anywhere in the garden and landscape where a higher (Less acidic) soil pH is desired.
It is used to raise the pH of soil. If your soil is too acidic, many garden plants have difficulty growing. I apply lime in the fall, after testing the pH, so that there is time for the pH to stabilize before I plant in the spring. I try to aim for 5.5-7. Don’t use it on acid loving plants, such as blueberries.
No. Packaging explicitly states "All Natural & Pelletized Safer than Hydrated Lime"
No. It is used to raise the pH of soil. I found the best way to keep animals out of the garden is to use 1/4" hardware cloth around plants.
Thank you for your question. This product is not intended to use on chickens for mites and lice. Espoma Garden Lime can be used anywhere in the garden and landscape where a higher (Less acidic) soil pH is desired.
This would be a wonderful ph booster for your trees. If you can get it deep into the soil and then water and enjoy!
This lime is great for all plants! Yet, keep in mind less is better.
Thank you for your question. Espoma Garden Lime can be used anywhere in the garden and landscape where a higher (Less acidic) soil pH is desired. Lavender's growing requirements include neutral to slightly alkaline soil with pH values of 6.5 to 7.5.
Thank you for your question. Yes, Espoma Garden Lime contains 21% calcium and will help your potted tomatoes. It adjusts pH levels of acidic soils for up to 4 weeks. Spread evenly under the plant out to and just beyond the drip line. Water thoroughly.
You want the pH of the soil to be between 6-6.5 for best results. Do a soil pH test to determine if you need to raise the pH. If you do, this lime is safe. Don’t use lime if the pH is higher than 6.5 (i.e. 7.0 or higher).
