This hammer has a lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects. I own 3 estwing hammers and have never had a problem with any of them. 1 of them I have owned for over 30 years.
This Estwing 16oz hammer is the most favored and common tool in the carpentry trade. Regarded the best for both framing and trim work by most carpenter mechanics. Unfortunately, it does not come with instructions to the best of my memory. YouTube it if necessary.
It’s a hammer, for Pete’s sake!
Place the nail where you want to drive it and hold it between the thumb and forefinger of your non-dominant hand. Place your fingers near the top of the nail when holding it. If you hold the nail near the bottom, a missed hammer swing will crush your fingers between the wood and the hammer.
No, the hammer does not include instructions.
