Easy to Cut, Perfect for Mounting Projects to a 4x4
This was an easy way to mount 2 Little Libraries /Free Pantries to a 4x4: the 36 inch length was easy to cut into 4 lengths of 9” each using a hand hacksaw. The steel was actually easier than I thought to cut by hand! I used 2” long lag bolts, two per side, to mount two of these to each 4x4 top, and then held the Little Library to it with 4 nuts, lock washers and bolts. Easy Sunday-afternoon installation project, very much appreciated by our Church and Cub Scouts!

You can always find what you need for Small and Large projects. I Returned this piece for the same size, Flat stock. BUT it worked perfectly, I built a Horn and Speaker mount. In the front of the car between the bumper and the Radiator. It fits just right. NOW I have Air horns, an old time Aooga HORN, and PA. SO I can Yell at Girls in Bikinis. BUT if you have a project, check out Home Depot. They have Everything.

I had to redo the supports for the garage door when I installed osb on the ceiling. I reused the metal that came with the garage door after cutting it a bit shorter, and added this as the horizontal piece on the ceiling after cutting it to length also. The combination of holes/slots made it easier to line up the pieces, but also can require planning ahead, especially when cutting multiple pieces, to get lined up with the correct holes/slots for your particular project.
