Rated 3 out of 5 by from Watch the labeling location This fitting's price sticker was in the worst place it could have been. The 3/4" end is a female mating surface but the price sticker was placed right on that surface. I did not get a proper sweating bound a couple of times and I suspect it's because I simply did not clean the glue off that surface well enough. While I can take a share of responsibility for improper cleaning, I know that if the sticker had bee placed on the 1/2 fitting end I wouldn't have had the same troubles.

As another reviewer stated, the bar code sticker is located exactly where it needs to be cleaned off to slip into a 3/4 inch sweat fitting. Additionally, this would be perfect to use with a Sharkbite fitting if the 3/4 diameter inch end was about 1/4 inch longer, but not so. For the price, it really should be.

I picked up a couple of these fitting reducers, and they both seem to be out of variance with regard to inner diameter, making it near impossible to get onto the pipe on either side. Comparing the sizing to the other couplings and elbows that I purchased that fit perfectly, I can only assume that the problem is with the reducers and tees from Nibco.
