Great subtle protection for my door!
When opening my exterior screen door all the way, it's very easy to bump it into my gutter - and this is bad for the gutter and bad for the door! I got these bumpers to place on the door for some protection. They're clear, so barely noticeable near the top of the door, and do a great job helping the door bounce off the gutter w/ no damage. I've had them installed for a couple of months now, and they've held up well with rain, heat, etc, so are working great!

1/2 in. x 1 in. Clear Bumpers I used these clear bumpers on the bottom of a ceramic flower vase, to protect the wood furniture it sits on, and to replace lost bumpers under a glass top table. The adhesive grabbed right on to the metal table frame, and cushioned the glass top very nicely. The non adhesive top of the bumper has a grip that does not allow the glass to slide around, which is an added bonus. For the vase, I cut the small rectangle into two squares that better fit the bottom edge of the vase. Cutting them was easy with some sharp scissors. They did not seem to stick to the rough ceramic bottom edge at first. But I left them there overnight, and I guess the extra time and the weight of the ceramic, gave the bumpers a better chance to attach. By morning they were firmly in place.

Very handy, clever bumpers. Although I already have a handful of sticky 'protector-type' products like those felt pads, I wanted to give these a try, mainly because they are clear. When they arrived, I realized they are also very strong and sturdy. By that, I mean I don't think they will move at all once placed on a surface. I used them for an unusual idea: Instead of screwing in a door spring protector at the baseboard, I placed one of these bumpers on the wall where the door knob would hit. So far, it's doing the job Perfectly. I also used some to protect cabinets from bumping and marking up the new paint. It's a great idea to keep some of these on hand!

I needed to stop a closed interior hallway door from rattling in the doorframe each time the AC came on in the house. I cut one of these clear bumpers lengthwise into two 1/4 x 1 inch pieces. I placed one piece 1/3 of the way down from the top of the doorframe, and the other 1/3 of the way up from the bottom of the doorframe, on the side of the doorframe that faces the door handle side of the door. The vertical edge of the doorframe that abuts the door is about 1/4 inch wide, so the 1/4 x 1 inch bumper pieces were an excellent fit. With these bumpers in place the door shuts and latches tightly (it snugs up with just a light push on the door handle), with no more free play in relation to the doorframe. The door no longer rattles when the AC comes on. Because these bumpers are clear plastic, they are essentially invisible and no one has even noticed they are in place. But they have noticed that the door no longer rattles when it's closed - problem solved.
