A contractor friend of mine recommended I use this threaded rod to strengthen my shower half wall. So I installed a concrete anchor and coupling that I purchased from Home Depot. Then I simply threaded the 1/2" rod into the coupling, cut off the excess on the top of the wall and tightened it all together with a nut and washer. Now the wall is super sturdy thanks to the threaded rod. Definitely remember this idea for future projects!

good threaded rod, although it did have a couple of spots where threads had been marred but was able to straighten them out with my thread chaser, im pretty positive this was through handling at the store and not by the production company, would recommend this rod in longer lengths saves you money and always projects where you can use it.
