Door guard
I used them for something completely different in our rentals. Everytime a unit moves out we have at least 4 holes from the door handle hitting the wall. Once remodeled we have to try to protect the wall and these are an economical way to do so. The hinge ones may be ok but harder to install for some and have caused minor issues in the past. They sell rubber door guards but they are about $5 each. Instead, for under $3 I can get 4 of these. Installs w a screw and washer(to increase surface area). You should also use a medium sized plastic anchor to hold in the drywall since it'll have a lot of movement from the door hitting it

Unconventional use
I have a clothesline that had open poles and was concerned i would walk into the corners and do some real damage. These fit perfectly and now if i accidentally walk into it, it shouldn't break the skin.
