order almost twice as long as you need. About 1/2...
order almost twice as long as you need. About 1/2 of the length is wasted, drill and then nothing. Make sure you order them much longer so you have enough threads to do the job.

Screws worked well in softer metal but when I went to the steel c channel I had a lot of wasted screws probably less than a quarter of the total amount used in the c channel however the amount would have been higher had I not started pre drilling holes with a drill bit

Used for subfloor
I used these to mount a subfloor to my motorhome. They worked well and the wafer head worked well with plywood. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the phillips head would be better if it was a torq head t-25 or t-30.
